Nope. Refuse to give them my business after kicking La Familia out. I drive by there frequently and have yet to see a car in the drive thru and there is rarely more that a couple of cars parked by their entrance.

The good news is that La Familia is killing it at their new location. Even offering delivery now and Lisa just posted on FB that they have a new van that does pop-up events. I do wish they had kept their dinner hours, but they obviously don't need to given their busy breakfast/lunch business.

This.

No need to try them with two La Familia locations available and Mojo Tortilla Co. not real far up the road.

Plus, getting in and out of that location was always a pain anyway.

Hi, like others, don't want to give them my business. With that said, I went once as I was really needing something and I was in that vicinity. I guess I thought it was fine, it kind of almost had a subway set up where they kind of build your taco in front of you. But I literally think I just got one taco so that's not much of a review.

Okay, dumb question time.

La Familia on Texas in Bryan is our go-to for a Saturday morning breakfast taco run, and I've been to the one that used to be off Barron (now off Fitch). Are they all related/owned by the same familia? What about Yole's La Familia in Wellborn?

That is my understanding. In 2019 our needed 1200 breakfast tacos and we worked Lisa on Barton at the time and she told her sisters at the other two (including Yoles) would be helping her.

Lisa owns La Familia at Fitch and Arrington and also in the 3160 Market on South Holleman.

Yole's is owned by a sister or cousin and is ok but I personally don't enjoy their food as much. And I loathe getting in and out of that location.

I'm not sure exactly how they are related to a La Familia in Bryan but there is a Mi Familia that they used to be sure to point out is not affiliated with La Familia.

Correct. I think they gave La Familia like maybe 30 to 60 days notice that they were being kicked out and then the gas station people opened their own taco place.

Also went there for lunch today and talked to them about the possible relocation. He said they have possible ideas for spots further away from the University. Don't want to spill too many details but sounds like they have some protection in the lease to allow some planning for a move. Hope it works out!

That's really good to hear! Rolando and the staff are good peoples. I would also rate their "Ninfa's style green sauce" as one of the better ones in town, and I'm glad they sell it to go now.
