Is there a good hibachi spot? I see there is shogun by HEB water tower. Is that the only spot or are there others and if so which do you prefer?

Not strictly a restaurant (I think it's run out of someone's house?) but out of curiousity ordered from Pizza Gooool (Latin inspired pizzas) via Door Dash while watching World Cup. Got the "Espagnola" with ham, mushrooms and oregano. Other than the crust needing more crisp it was good, very distinct. The cheese was not mozzarella but super gooey and very good. A few minutes in a skillet helped the crust. I'll order again.

Looks like it could be a ghost kitchen out of Heaven's Kitchen Soul Food on Tabor Rd.

They operate out of one of the commercial kitchens at AG Farm on Tabor Rd.

I've hardly ever listened to Texags radio but Gabe was all over this place.
It's because they were a sponsor. Heck the David and Olin currently do a paid spot around 8:25 every day for BBQ.

Kerri's Stacked Enchiladas was the old Wings N More. Nothing else there except Sambo's (renamed to Season's as the chain collapsed but closed after).
The current Torchy's saw lots of turnover in the 1990s and 2000s but its been stable for almost twelve years at this point.
Yep. People love to dunk on it but Torchy's has done well there. Always busy.
So I went to Frice on Sunday after church. I must say it was AMAZING. Like for those of us who frequented NW Austin's authentic Asia Cafe AMAZING. They don't have an elaborate menu but that is by design. They have 1 cook and won't customize your food. It was WELL worth it. I had the pork with garlic sauce and it was OFF THE HOOK OMG ARE YOU SURE THIS IS NOT ASIA CAFE ON SPICEWOODS SPRINGS ROAD IN AUSTIN GOOD.

I love Frice! I always order the pork with garlic sauce and it's always amazing. The cucumber salad is good too. The gentleman that works the front of the house is so friendly.
Just remember they are closed from 3-4:30pm and closed all day on Tuesdays.

I'm sure it's just their temporary hours, but they seem closed every time I pass by on the way to work which is around 7:45 AM. Maybe I'll try them once, but it's gonna be a pretty hard pass at $9 a coffee.
