Do you have all the DLC? If so and you haven't completed the mars story missions, do that before you do any milestones. The soft cap is 345. Once you get there, turn in milestones, do the raids on normal and you'll get about 10-15 LL points. That's including all the raids.

If you REALLY want to power up the main character, I suggest doing your alternates first with what I just explained. It's extremely tedious and takes way longer, but it's much more beneficial to the LL grind.

Me and the clan just 5-man blazed through the three Leviathan rooms in under an hour last night. Only had to take 3-4 attempts at pools, we did gauntlet and gardens on the first go. All the youtube videos said you needed x48 or x60 to wipe the dogs in one go, but we got 5 in phase 1 off x36 and didn't even need modifier for the last one.

Going to face Calus for the first time tonight.
Our clan was hardcore in D1 but we only started playing D2 together a month ago. I've had D2 since launch and the game has come far since the launch flop that it was. I'm glad I'm getting to experience the raids and I'm glad I have a raid team in time for Forsaken

Yup. Have all the DLC and run through all those.

Do the new Ikora missions give out higher that 345 gear?

Guess its back to the grind of the usual milestones.
