speaking of creepy, the moment when you enter the cave in search of your light in mission 3 is amazing. You can see several pairs of glowing fallen eyes looking at you from the depths of the cave. Had a somewhat cartoonish feel to it (in a good way) and yet was still creepy and unsettling.

You can definately do it solo. I, personally, think it is more fun in groups, but it was designed to be done solo

Alright --

So who has finished their quest for MIDA? Not really a spoiler -- but if you love this gun and want it, make sure to keep 5 scout rifles in your vault to dismantle as part of the quest... Stupid me didn't do that. They can be energy or kinetic.

Also, who has Rat King's Crew quest.. I need to solve this riddle with "other rats" so I need probably need your guy's help. If you want to know how to get the quest just ask.. I can tell you. Same with the MIDA questline. I can tell you how to get it.

Don't talk to Shaxx of you've reached level 20 and haven't beaten the main story.

Apparently he has dialog that spoils the ending.

I'm at level 13 and progressing through the story. Will probably play a fair amount tonight. Wonder if I'll hit 20.

This game is so much better as far as how fully fleshed out it is compared to D1. Story is great.

I haven't beaten the game yet but my biggest disappointment is learning you can't play a lot of these story missions again

I think you can -- I won't spoil how, but there seem to be weekly quests that involve replaying some of the old missions. You only unlock this once you finish the campaign.

Okay -- Beat the nightfall, guys... It isn't too bad if you communicate the current burn and have a good mix of supers/burn weapons. Oh -- and if everyone is at least 340 light it makes it go much more smoothly.

I will likely be making a hunter this weekend so I will run it again once that is appropriately powered up!

Should you spend the levelling up points right away or save them up until skills you actually want unlock? I'm up to 5 now woo woo. Enjoying it just busy with life. Weekend isn't looking much better with Aggie home opener and great golf weather.

Spend them as you get them. You will get enough to unlock all nodes. Once unlocked on 1 subclass, that same node will be unlocked on all your other subclasses for that character. So if you unlock all your jumps and grenade types on your arc strider, they will also be unlocked on your gunslinger.

I'm not by my PS4, so I could be wrong, but I think the two groups of four unlocks on the right side of the power-up screen have to be unlocked for each subclass individually.

But yea, grenades and jump unlocks carry over to each subclass.

Im up to 268 on the xbone. Im thinking i may need to do some work on the ps4 this weekend. Nightfall sucks. Took 3 good 260s+ to get her done.

260s, edited and fixed. The grind really starts at 260. I know a couple 270s and suspect that or 280 will be closer to raid light expected.

I have all the abilities unlocked across all three sub classes of my Hunter. I used the points to unlock all the abilities on my arc strider first and when I switched to nightstalker and gunslinger, all the abilities were also unlocked.

Ah! Good to know. Apologies for the misinformation.

Re: Bullet Sponges. I do not believe Destiny 2 is anywhere close to The Division in terms of bullet sponginess. It was an early complaint in Destiny 1, but I feel that Bungie has made improvements. That being said major enemies and bosses can still take quite awhile to burn down, but at least in my opinion, that is to be expected. There are many normal adds that can be taken down in 1 shot.

Depends. Boss encounters tend to be more bullet sponges (as they should be...just shouldn't go on TOO long).

Destiny likes to use amount of enemies to swarm you more than a few bullet sponge adds.

I don't think there has ever been a game as bad as The Division regarding bullet sponges. The major bosses take a while to kill with regular guns but your supers can melt them pretty quickly.

One thing I read is the soft cap is roughly 260ish so once you hit level 20, save your rep materials to turn in once you hit 260 as that is the light level cap for world drops. I am only 220 so I can't confirm just wanted to pass it along
