This is why I've learned not to follow aggie football in the off-season. All the sunshine pumping makes me think they'll be legit, and then they crap the bed. At least this season they had the decency to do it in game #1 instead of going 6-0 and getting ranked #4 before sucking

My plan for tomorrow:
Wake up at 6:30am. Go to work. Probably get home around 6pm.
Lay down on couch to take a nap for as long as I can, setting alarm for 10:45pm.
Wake up from nap, prep for Destiny 2, and then at 11pm log on to Destiny 2.
Get weasel error.
Try to log in again.
Get another server error.
Check Destiny subreddit and this thread to see that everyone else is having server issues.
Keep on trying. More weasel errors.
Finally around 11:45pm, get in. Mess around the menus for 2 minutes. Get kicked.
Start debating whether I should cut my losses and go to bed or tough it out.
I see this going until around 1am until I finally decide to just go to bed. Wake up early for work the next day to find that the servers started workin around 1:05am.
Spend the day at work on a Wednesday trying not to spoil myself but finding my willpower only lasts about 15 minutes before I start reading everything.

I didn't really play D1 so I have a question. If I play more than my friend at the beginning (his house is flooded in Houston) can we still group up if I end up higher level when he can finally play? Or should I have a designated alt to play with him when he gets things all settled.

He can catch up. I made up for the first few years in a couple of months and one guy here was able to get a character up to speed in a day or two with some serious playing. Also, the guys on here are very patient and happy to help in my experience.
Nothing keeping you from playing with him. It might require you to be playing his missions instead of him joining yours because your missions will likely be at a higher level.

Okay, here is my plan:
Step one a: Retrieve Ps4 pro bundle from game stop pending delivery; play all night, spend the day with my wife tomorrow before she leaves for San Antone, play again until 1AM be at work by 8:30 Thursday. Hurricane ******bag really put a damper on that possibility.
Step one b: Retrieve regular game; play all night, spend the day with my wife tomorrow before she leaves for San Antone, play again until 1AM be at work by 8:30 Thursday and return it when my bundle comes in for full refund but still get to progress a bit.
Step two: Transfer characters over, to get the initial rewards, then probably remake all but the warlock.
Step three: Main my hunter because even with dumb class abilities, we look awesome

Hmmm, stay up late to knock out a couple of missions, or get a good nights rest so I can teach the 6th graders tomorrow? Thankfully, tomorrow's a lab day so they do most of the learning themselves. Science teacher for the win!!

If you stay up, while your body will feel exhausted the next day, thoughts of loot, weapons, builds, missions, and gameplay will keep your brain awake.
Add a couple of Rockstars and you'll be fine.
Unless your over 40 with several young children. Then your brain seems to just shut down regardless.

Switched jobs over the summer and I love it!! Still teaching in CS so same benefits and such, but it's a blast teaching science!
