Noob question: If i never played the first Destiny would I catch on pretty easy to Destiny 2? What is this game comparable to?
The beta for Destiny 2 felt more like Halo than Destiny 1 did. I'm not a huge gamer, so there could be a better comparison. I'm not a huge lore type person, so I think you could go from 1 to 2 without a problem.

Definitely! Though you should probably catch up on the story/ main lore from D1. I bet there are YouTube videos just for this purpose.

This, I wouldn't go back and play much of D1 at this point. The guns feel good but gameplay is different when it comes team shooting and everything else.

Dang...I can't decide if I want to play Horizon Zero Dawn, or this first. Right now I'm playing The Last of Us. Late to the party, i know.
Start with D2. The people on your friends list and here will quickly out level you making it potentially harder to play with them until you catch up. HZD, while one of my favorites, can be played anytime since it's single player.
Feel free to jump in on Destiny 2 as I'm sure we'll have several folks playing it when it drops! I usually keep my party chats open on the PS4 or you can just shoot me a message, PSN is the same as my TexAgs handle.
We have a good crew that played Destiny, especially in the first two years of the game and many of us will be back at launch for Destiny 2. I'll answer any questions that I can from the first game, but it will be a new storyline so you shouldn't be too far behind us. Just bring a good sense of humor with you and you'll fit in just fine!

Easttexas. Join in on D2 and not Horizon Zero Dawn. The hype of the first few months of D2 with everyone playing together, figuring out stuff, etc. will be worth waiting on HZD.
HZD is fantastic, but jumping into the Destiny hype will be a ton of fun.

Used shield background (bottom row third over) and the wreath/sword emblem (third row last one)
I liked this combo because you get the shield of the Aggie ring, the wreath on the left side of the ring, and the sword in the other (though it is sword rifle and cannon, but beggars can't be choosers).

Yep, colors are hard because closest thing to maroon is what I posted above or a purple.
