Even if we consider drafting a QB this year or next year to learn behind Dak and replace him...Dak is here for 2 more years minimum...and I dont see any team trading for him

Look at what the Eagles are doing. Mirror that.
The Eagles have built an offense designed to hide their QB's debilitating weaknesses. I think you'll see what that gets you next weekend.
SF will eat their RPO game up.
And nah, I think the iggles will still be favored and do just fine against this team. Especially in Philly.
That really isn't true. Its an urban legendInfection_Ag11 said:Kellso said:If the Cowboys had a badass tailback then they win this game today easily.Infection_Ag11 said:Kellso said:
Cowboys need to draft Bijan Robinson. Its always something with this team.
This was a winnable game with any type of running game.
Dak wasn't good enough either tonight.
No more drafting RBs in the first round
You can get badass running backs anywhere in the draft. The best backs in any given year are usually guys drafted in the 2nd-4th rounds.

Philadelphia is doing essentially what the Rams did last year, loading up for one big run.
8 of their 11 defensive starters are free agents this offseason, and they will have less than $20 million in cap space BEFORE signing their rookie class and have very little flexibility in terms of restructuring deals.
Their roster is going to be gutted this off-season, and while they'll keep much of the offense intact history has shown two read RPO schemes don't see sustained success across multiple seasons. DCs will have all off-season to pick apart their film.

I would also like to see us go another direction w OC. Moore is painfully avaerage. I think he's taken Dak as far as the two of them can go. I think it would be good for Dak to have a fresh voice.

Two things had a huge effect on that game. Pollard injury and the Diggs drop.
Not only did that diggs drop cost points, I actually think Diggs turns that up the sideline and he might have scored. Can't believe he dropped that.
Build around Dak, and whoever the QB that likely takes his spot in 2-3 years. Thats the key, make the rest of the team so good that you just need an ok QB and all the pressure isnt on his shoudlersjr15aggie said:
Finding a franchise QB is the #1 hardest thing to do for any team. Not saying you can't draft a QB, but our focus should and will be building a better team around Dak.

I think the Cowboys got as far as they could get this season to be honest. They need to get younger on the O-line and at RB, and need to get better at WR and CB. The Amari Cooper trade looks awful in hindsight. I won't be surprised if Jerry swings for the fences and trades up for Bijan Robinson.

They are young on the OL.
Smith, McGovern, Biadasz, Steele are all young. They need to address WR2, CB2, DT and LB.

Daks just not good enough. He's a good guy, leader, tries hard, but makes the same mistakes. He's lucky they dropped that last interception.

Hasn't been the same since his injury he's a step and a half slower now and continually makes poor decisions.
Zeke got paid and lazy, he's washed up.

I think that's a bit much.
I will remind everyone the cowboys WR group was dead last…dead last in separation this year. When your QB is throwing into the smallest windows in the league, he's going to have some bad results, at times.
Lamar Jackson to the Dallas Cowboys 🙌🏼 Trade Dak 😤 pic.twitter.com/dOsicrPGT8
