I've already put my adidas shorts & dark blue shirt that I wore last night away to be worn again on Sunday... and my dark blue Aikman Jersey was re-hung on the same hanger awaiting kick-off.gigem1223 said:
No game threads till about an hour before kick off and jr starts it. Got to keep everything the same as yesterday.
"I don't know if I ever made a halftime adjustment in my entire 18-year career. I think that's the biggest myth in football- the halftime adjustments. You go in, you use the restroom, you eat a couple of oranges, and then the head coach says, 'Alright, let's go!'"- Peyton Manning pic.twitter.com/j17FWpXChq

I like the MNF playoff game.gigem1223 said:
Interesting stat. And all the more reason the nfl needs to do away with MNF in the playoffs.
Teams with 5 days rest vs teams with 7 days rest in road playoff games are 9-24.

I said going into this game I just wanted to see a playoff game where Dallas brought their A game. We haven't done that since 2009 when we destroyed the Eagles at home (I was there and it was glorious!).
If we can do it again, especially on defense against Mr. Irrelevant, we are going to have a good shot at beating SF.

I guess we are all dummies for complaining about lack of adjustments at halftime? lol
Has anybody alerted Mike Sherman on this?Seven Costanza said:I was listening to someone a couple of weeks ago that said the same thing. Something to the effect of "the coaching staff is constantly reading things and adjusting throughout the game. It's not like we get to halftime and then figure out what's going on and how to fix it."PatAg said:"I don't know if I ever made a halftime adjustment in my entire 18-year career. I'm feeling a win next weekend.
The 49ers are a great, well-rounded team, but I am still not convinced Brock Purdy is very good...everything he has done has been against pretty poor opposition.
This is what I worry about with the Purdy narrative, he was mostly bad yesterday but due to his receivers being more open than any other offense ever (?) the narrative will still be that he’s good https://t.co/c6fElHjy52

This is a bad throw… the Purdy narrative is out of control https://t.co/AMqKuqzmCe

He has good poise and his ability to extend plays is a breath of fresh air, but otherwise I think he’s regressed since his first start

How did a completely unfair (and known) disadvantage get the green light from the NFL competition committee? Not only that but the Cowboys are going from road game to road game and crossing 3 time zones. Going to be tough, but man if the Cowboys win and the Giants pull an upset... NFC championship game is in Arlington versus Daniel Jones with a full week of rest. Just saying, but maybe we get some regression on 2 decades of bad karma next weekend.gigem1223 said:

And another to LVE - led the team in tackles last night. He makes a huge difference in the run defense when he's out there. Had a great game !jr15aggie said:
How about a HUGE shout-out to Tyler Biadasz! The guy gets back in the line-up and our O-line immediately looks solid again.

IF we can stop the run and keep SF behind the chains like they did to TB last night then Dallas will win. Don't let CMC beat you, make Purdy beat you. It's that simple to me.

The issue to me is how well SF seems to scheme their playmakers open. Clearly Seattle's defense is trash but I feel like half the time I've seen Purdy play he's throwing to wide the hell open WRs or Kittle
I dunno. Best way to stop a pass rush is run right at it... and they can certainly do that, from multiple angles.PatAg said:
I just think our defense is going to command the game, and they won't be able to stop our offense.
They are the team with the glaring weakness at a crucial position, not us.

One more thought about last night. The defense was extremely physical. They were hitting Tampa players HARD. Especially Godwin. That guy has got to be feeling it today. It was actually impressive how he kept catching the ball after the shots he took.

I had taco bueno yesterday like an idiot and was up with food poisoning from about midnight to 10-11 am.
I am exhausted. But, I also know what this means. What should I eat next Sunday before the game? Lmao
