I've already put my adidas shorts & dark blue shirt that I wore last night away to be worn again on Sunday... and my dark blue Aikman Jersey was re-hung on the same hanger awaiting kick-off.

I will make the game thread ~ 1 hour before kick-off. We all gotta do our part fellas!

PS: My wife was awesome and got me tamales, veggies, chips & guac/queso to eat during the game.... guess who's going back to HEB Sunday afternoon!!!!!!!

I guess we are all dummies for complaining about lack of adjustments at halftime? lol

Interesting stat. And all the more reason the nfl needs to do away with MNF in the playoffs.

Teams with 5 days rest vs teams with 7 days rest in road playoff games are 9-24.

I wore a Bucs 2020 Super Bowl shirt (long story) and Aggie hat on Sunday while walking around in a mall in Houston and getting thumbs up throughout the day. I didn't realize I had the shirt on until after the first thumbs up. I'll have to do that again this week. Maybe find a 49ers SB shirt....

I said going into this game I just wanted to see a playoff game where Dallas brought their A game. We haven't done that since 2009 when we destroyed the Eagles at home (I was there and it was glorious!).

If we can do it again, especially on defense against Mr. Irrelevant, we are going to have a good shot at beating SF.

I like the MNF playoff game.
With the new 18 week schedule, and the expanded post season format, its not going away.

SF's offense ain't the reason this game worries me.
Man it would be sweet to go out there and beat their asses…just like the good ol' days.

I was listening to someone a couple of weeks ago that said the same thing. Something to the effect of "the coaching staff is constantly reading things and adjusting throughout the game. It's not like we get to halftime and then figure out what's going on and how to fix it."

Has anybody alerted Mike Sherman on this?

I'm not overly happy about it either, but most teams playing on the road in the playoffs didn't win 12 games like Dallas did. The stat is a bit skewed simply because the road teams in a divisional round match up are typically inferior to the home team.

I said this a few days ago... if Dallas played really good football against Tampa (and they sure as hell did that), then I wouldn't be as concerned about the short rest. This team feels invincible right now... no reason to sit around for 7 days and start overthinking it... let's line up and play some football!!!!

Last night was the first time the Cowboys ever won a playoff game with their Dark Navy Road Jerseys.

1982 NFC Championship- Washington Redskins (L)
1996 NFC Divisional-Carolina Panthers (L)
2003 NFC Wild Card- Carolina Panthers (L)
2022 NFC Wild Card- Tampa Bay Bucs (W)

I'm feeling a win next weekend.

The 49ers are a great, well-rounded team, but I am still not convinced Brock Purdy is very good...everything he has done has been against pretty poor opposition.

How about a HUGE shout-out to Tyler Biadasz! The guy gets back in the line-up and our O-line immediately looks solid again.

Yes! And leave Peters on the bench! Praise to the entire OL though. All of them played great.

I think we got a good shot. I saw someone on Twitter that was commenting that the metrics say Purdy is coming down to earth a bit. I'll try to find it.

He has yet to really look like a rookie. There's no way he doesn't have a tough game in there somewhere. Hope this week he comes back down to earth.

IF we can stop the run and keep SF behind the chains like they did to TB last night then Dallas will win. Don't let CMC beat you, make Purdy beat you. It's that simple to me.

So now that I'm thinking about it, the 49ers get an extra rest day and also the longest possible rest amount you could get since they were the first playoff game on a Saturday.

And here the cowboys are just getting their first rest day today. Ridiculous

How did a completely unfair (and known) disadvantage get the green light from the NFL competition committee? Not only that but the Cowboys are going from road game to road game and crossing 3 time zones. Going to be tough, but man if the Cowboys win and the Giants pull an upset... NFC championship game is in Arlington versus Daniel Jones with a full week of rest. Just saying, but maybe we get some regression on 2 decades of bad karma next weekend.

And another to LVE - led the team in tackles last night. He makes a huge difference in the run defense when he's out there. Had a great game !

The issue to me is how well SF seems to scheme their playmakers open. Clearly Seattle's defense is trash but I feel like half the time I've seen Purdy play he's throwing to wide the hell open WRs or Kittle

What do you mean? Purdy is the next Tom Brady, only better because he didn't need most of a season to win his first Super Bowl and was drafted even lower. One GOAT is retiring so the next GOAT is stepping up. Mr Irrelevant to Hall of Fame in just a few games. Better than all the QBs on his team and the entire league with a quarter of a season. He strikes fear into the hearts of weak men and overgrown boys. He fells trees with a single blow of his axe with the help of his trusty blue ox.

Maybe the last one was Paul Bunyan, but the rest seems pretty spot on I think

One more thought about last night. The defense was extremely physical. They were hitting Tampa players HARD. Especially Godwin. That guy has got to be feeling it today. It was actually impressive how he kept catching the ball after the shots he took.

This, big time. Shanahan is so damn good.

I just think our defense is going to command the game, and they won't be able to stop our offense.
They are the team with the glaring weakness at a crucial position, not us.

I've said it before and I'll probably say it again but Shanahan's offense is the offense that Jimbo thinks his is. Pro style, multiple, schemes guys open with easy reads

I dunno. Best way to stop a pass rush is run right at it... and they can certainly do that, from multiple angles.

Really need Kearse back to get on Kittle. Trevon Diggs will be ole'ing out of the way once Deebo gets a full head of steam.

According to what I just listened to... last night was the first time since the GB game the refs called the opposing team for offensive holding (Tampa got called for just one).

That's absolutely insane!!!

I had taco bueno yesterday like an idiot and was up with food poisoning from about midnight to 10-11 am.

I am exhausted. But, I also know what this means. What should I eat next Sunday before the game? Lmao
