Game over. Best Dallas can hope for is for a win and all the other wild card teams to lose. Play Phiily in round 2 and hope for the best.

SF is just absurd. As much as I want to curse them, I think of the 92 season. They had Jerry Rice and John Taylor with Steve Young throwing at them. They had a solid defense with other offensive weapons like Ricky Waters and Tom Rathman. And yet Dallas still walked into their stadium and beat their ass.

I feel like SF is pretty legit. Samuel is a beast alone. So is McCaffrey. Purdy doesn't have to be great with that talent they have. This isn't even a game.

Yeah, their best weapons are largely underneath guys (run and receive) which just stresses the hell out of a defense and keep the chains moving. Spreads the defense thin

SF is good, and the play calling is even better. I just think if you speed Purdy up with consistent pressure and actually hit him, he would melt.

They are good but Seattle stinks. Their D is putrid.

I think SF is vulnerable. The fact that a trash seattle team made it a game after the 10-0 start shows that.

Eagles or Niners, we just need to get to next week and see

He's talented and can make all the throws but he doesn't seem to win many games. He gets lumped in the convo with the elite guys all the time which is a bit premature imo.

That's great. I never questioned his talent. My biggest knock is his lack of wins. To me if you're going to be put in a category of Mahomes, Allen and Burrow you need to win more.

I agree to an extent, but when your head coach is the defensive coordinator and absolutely collapses in second half…the blame goes right to that guy.

Offense wasn't good either, I will acknowledge and concede, but giving up 24 in a half is a tough look.

Staley is not a good head coach. I agree with that. But Herbert's offense only up 3 points in the 2nd half.

Why do you think this? And what does "leagues better" mean? A lot better?

Daks career passer rating is higher, BTW.

Just physical tools and what he has accomplished in the league so far. As one poster said earlier he has some of the best stats through 2 and 3 years in league history. Just the eye test alone says he's elite with a terrible coach. I concede though, that he does need to start winning some of the huge games, but so does Dak. It's a team game yes, but QBs are eventually judged on what they did in big games and if they won or lost.

If someone showed you Dak's stats blind, you would think he was great. If someone could watch him play, without knowing it was the Cowboys playing, he'd pass the eye test.
We are just very familiar with him, so we tend to hyperfocus in on the flaws. And you dont do the same with a qb like herbert.
That siad, Dak picked a bad part of the season to be off, gotta hope he is able to revert back to mid-season form Monday.

At this point I would rather the Cowboys face the Eagles over the 49ers.

I think they can beat Tampa and Philly. I don't think any team in the NFC can beat San Francisco.
Kansas City is the only team left standing that I see that can beat them.
