Pretty wild stat: If Tennessee and Detroit make the playoffs, Dallas will have won 7 games against playoff teams in one year which would tie the NFL record.

At least Howley is almost 90, Tony Dorsett already had significant CTE and dementia in his late-50s. He's 68 now and sounds like he's got only a few years left.

Anybody have updates on the Eagles... is Hurts practicing / planning on playing this weekend?

EDIT: Found good info on their website. Looks like he's limited participation in practice and the coach isn't saying much outside of "when he's medically cleared to play he will play".

I really hope that when he does come back, his bum shoulder will effect his throwing and his ability to run the way he did all year. Every team is dealing with injuries, I just hope the Eagles get it just as bad or worse than everybody else!

Would be staggering to total Henry's total number of carries in his career. He's been the bell cow at every single level. His HS stats are beyond absurd too by the way

But in the case of Dallas, they would be the favorites in that game. There is a chance they wouldn't get home until 2 AM Tueasday morning and have to play a team on Sunday that's been resting for 2 weeks.

I just can't believe that Monday Night Football is a thing in the playoffs. I can't say I remember if this is a new thing or if it's been going on for years. Will be typical for a Cowboys team that's been desperate just to make it to a NFC Title game for almost 30 years.

It's a disadvantage but not nearly as big as you think.

Cowboys will be fine. Revenge in SF on 1/22 will be sweet.

My only concern is that Dak historically is pretty rusty coming off of time off and bye weeks. I think you need to play Dak at least a few series.

With the way the eagles looked last week and Hurts' injury, nothing is certain. Andy Dalton was terrible last week and the saints still won by 2 scores. Play to win.

Lol wrong.

Maybe if the eagles are up big at the half play the backups for a good portion of the second half but absolutely do not approach the entire game like that.

If you're worried about injuries, but there is still a chance to get a higher playoff seed, you DON'T rest players and pretend it's a preseason game, you DO pull starters if you have a lead and the game is in hand…

Technically still on the table, but requires SF losing at home to the Cards (along with the Cowboys winning and Eagles losing).
