Too many miserable Texans fans up for their Superbowl today on that thread.

The Cowboys are playing very sloppy today. I had a feeling the Texans would play out of their minds for this game. Dallas needs to pull their heads out.

Ugly win but sometimes you have to win games like this.

That wasn't very encouraging with the playoffs right around the corner, but whatever. Shake it off. Still got the W. Need to beat Philly on Christmas Eve

Any given Sunday boys. Ugly wins are still wins. The parity in the NFL makes it fun to watch.

The Steele injury didn't help at all. Ball was getting whipped all game. However, Peters came in and played RT on that last drive and did a great job. Hopefully Steele doesn't miss too much time.

Not a great day for Dallas, but that last drive was money! Dak was as good as any QB in the NFL during that 2 min drill. Nails!

Ugly win, but it's a win. Meanwhile, Eagles keep on rolling.

Could the game on Christmas Eve be the biggest Cowboys/Eagles regular season game in years?

I'm hoping this is a good thing as we have another below average team next week in Jacksonville who could beat us if we play half ass.

With Tyron Smith returning soon I can see moving Tyler Smith to RT if Steele is out.

Making a rookie learn 3 different positions? I think they keep Peters at RT, then have smith and smith on the left side.

Don't discount the Jags, they whipped the Titans today.

Damn... Deebo just tore up his knee. Talk about no luck for the 49ers. Wow.

Hate to see injuries, but I am not sad about it. 49ers are a terrible matchup for Dallas.

Probably not since the eagles should have the division locked up and the cowboys should have the 5 seed locked.

That's exactly what you need. Teams lose games like this all the time. They overcame playing like ass to win. That's what championship teams do.

Agreed, hate to see it but not mad because SF is still really good.

I don't wish injuries for any player unless they are an Eagle... screw all them dudes!

Yeah. Just looked at their schedule. Outside of the Cowboys they have the Bears, Saints and Giants left. I don't have much faith any of them will beat the Eagles. Meanwhile, Dallas has the Jaguars, Titans and a tough Washington team.

If Terence Steele is out for a while (which is what it looks like), i think they move Jason Peters out to RT. Maybe push up Tyrons return by a week or so.

It would be criminal to put Josh Ball back out there

Change of subject but I'm not sure I've ever seen a Tom Brady led team get beat down like they are right now.

Texans completely changed up their offense and went with a 2 QB system to try and steal a win. It almost worked. Maliek Collins had a rediculous game. He was very good for the Cowboys he just couldn't stay healthy. I hope he has a great career. I was also impressed with the way the Texan LBs played those intermediate zones. Hopefully Dak learned a few lessons today.

Will the jags be easier than the Texans? Texans had a reason to circle our game and make us their Super Bowl, but would be nice if the jags just mailed it in and gave us a mini bye. The titans and commanders will come at us hard.

The Eagles can't clinch the division before week 17 without beating Dallas in week 16 no matter what else happens. And assuming Dallas beats Jacksonville the game will still be both practically and technically meaningful.

It's unfortunate that blowing a 14 point lead in GB, or Indy blowing it at the end against Philly, may well cost us the one seed.

They had a +4 TO differential, it's pretty hard to NOT win a game by double digits in the NFL with that sort of margin. They've still lose to Indy, Houston, Denver, Washington and New York this year.

As good as Steele has been, I think Peters taking over for him might be a bit of an upgrade. Steele has been a devastating run blocker this year but had his issues in pass pro. Peters should stabilize the pass pro.

What happens on the left is really interesting. I think most expect Tyron to step in at LT and 73 to slide down to LG. Will be interesting to see how they handle this.

As frustrating as the cowboys are sometimes w signings, the Peters one was very solid and should keep them from having a "derail the season" moment.

I'm of the opinion that the GB loss was necessary and we are a better team because of it. If we hadn't lost that game it's possible Indy comes in gives us a L (it was a close game until their wheels fell off). Either way we are probably a 3 loss team chasing the Eagles who look as complete as any team in the league right now.

You think we franchise tag Pollard? I believe the cost would be in the 10 million range. We could pretty much cover that if we let Zeke go. I can't think of another guy on the team that would warrant the tag this offseason (Steele is a restricted free agent so we have other options there).

I think we will... whether it be to get him back for 1 year or as a bargaining chip to get him to take the deal we want him to take. The Cowboys will kindly let his agent know that we are saving the tag for Tony and that he plays for Dallas next year or he plays nowhere.

When was the last time Jerry let a skill position player of that caliber in their prime walk? I'm not sure it's ever happened unless I'm just blanking on someone. Maybe Alvin Harper if you consider him on that level, but that was almost 30 years ago.
