We are incredibly deep on the d-line, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if Gallimore and maybe one more guy was moved. Also, with Damone Clark being activated we are incredibly deep at LBer. I don't see him playing much this year at all, but it is nice to finally have a full compliment of guys.

Last week they activated Watkins over Gallimore due to Detroits run game. It will be interesting to see if Hankins replaces Gallimore, Watkins, Bohannan or Hill. I don't see them carrying more than 4 DTs

Damn, Eagles got Quinn? He might be on the downside, but he'll keep anybody from double teaming other rushers.

Boys 31
Bears 13.

And it's not that close.

Whatever happened to Cox? He looked great before the knee injury last year and I don't remember seeing him this year.

He looked good in pre-season games and lots of praise during training camp. I think he just hasn't had any luck getting much PT with 2 Vets in front of him.

I'm still not impressed with LVE, he's nowhere close to the level of play we saw when he first entered the league. At a guess, barring injury, we won't see much of Cox or Damone Clark this year... but both have the potential to be solid or possibly really good NFL linebackers. Not surprised one bit if they are the guys rotating with Parsons next year and Barr & LVE aren't here.

Apologies for not seeing the is earlier, but like said above, I think he's primarily still working his way back from his ACL injury. There's also no need to rush him with how many guys we have. I doubt we see much of him this year.

Cox is second string and he play special teams. He's not playing because LVE is actually playing really well. I don't know what you're watching. He's been one of our most reliable tacklers.

I was thinking this too. He's maybe our best run stopper and possible our most reliable tackler. I think he's been very good this season.

He's definitely lost a step but I've noticed him making plays moreso than the last couple of years.

Yep, didn't mean to sound like he was garbage, but he's not what he used to be. I really thought we had this big tall fast monster of a LB'er his rookie year. Unfortunate that we only got that guy for around 1.5 years.

I don't think he's showing enough to be brought back next year... we'll move on to the younger/cheaper guys. Hope our LSU duo is ready to roll next year!

I think bringing LVE back will depend on how Jabril Cox and Damone Clark progress off of their significant injuries. If they look like guys who can contribute significantly next year, then you could probably let LVE walk. But if they aren't going to contribute then you should probably bring LVE back on some middle-of-the-road deal.

I personally would like to see Micah play a little more stand-up linebacker than he has this season. One of the biggest parts that makes him so elite is his speed and athleticism, so I would like to see him cover in space some more and be able to read a gap and stop runs. Obviously we want him rushing the passer too, but I'd like to see a good mix.

I think he's been good, but not great like I hoped he would be.
I see him out of position more than he was, and I don't see him making those big behind-the-L.O.S. plays like he used to.
I hoped he would be the next Sean Lee (without the injuries), but I think he is just going to be a solid guy.

I just think it might be hard to bring back LVE. He's on a 1 year 'prove it' deal after we declined his 5th year offer. He's going to want to find a 3-4 deal that pays idea starting LB money. I don't think we'll give that to right away and he'll explore the open market and probably find a team/money he feels good about.

With regards to Micah playing more stand up LB, I understand and somewhat agree.... but he's just so darn disruptive coming off the edge or blitzing up the middle I just don't see how he gets more time away from the line of scrimmage. The guy is an absolute game wrecker when we just point Micah at the QB and say "get him!".

In regards to LVE, I 100 percent believe we could draft an LB that comes in and plays at an acceptable level to not miss him. I don't really think he does anything incredibly well

If Sam Williams continues to emerge I could see the best lineup being Williams and Lawrence up front with Parsons playing off the ball. Not that Williams is a better pass rusher than Parsons, but he can be really good and Parsons is much better than Williams in space.

If LVE continues to take $3million/yr contracts you absolutely bring him back. He's been very solid. You don't need a bunch of superstar LBs. A couple solid guys are needed to fill out the roster for cheap so we can spend all this money on Micah and Trevon's extensions.

Pollard starts the rest of the season and gets the same workload he got today. Zeke can get whatever is left.

There are zero excuses to do anything but that.
Pollard is an absolute stud and today he proved he can do it all game long as the starter.

Pollard and zeke need to split the load 50/50 in am effort to keep them fresh for the post season. Zeke is still the better pass protector and power runner. Pollard in space is explosive. I'd also like to see more personnel packages with zeke and pollard both on the field. Seems like there's potential for more creative plays with both of those guys in the game.

I think they are an ELITE tandem and need to be used 50/50. Both guys need to touch the ball 15 times a game imo. Tony Pollard did the lords work today, and to him credit is due. He did absolutely looked gassed on his last touchdown run though haha!

I'm all for trying to preserve guys for the playoffs, but disagree on the 50/50 split. Pollard is better in space and better between the tackles.

Today it was easy to see that Pollard was getting 5+ yards on plays that Zeke would have used his power to get 2-3. It's those extra 3-4 yards that's keeping the drives alive and was a big reason our offense was so consistent today.

And those are just the little things... we can keep going and talk about how easily the guy flowed into the end zone today. 5, 10, or 40+ yards away... doesn't matter.

2022 Pollard is the best RB this team has had since 2016 Zeke. RB1 is his job now... we know it and I guarantee you the guys in that locker room know it too.

If the run blocking is creating massive holes then yes I'd say Pollard is the better RB. However Zeke has the ability to turn a rush for no gain into 5 yards. If the opposing run defense is playing well or if the offensive line is having issues I have to give the edge to Zeke. They compliment each other very well. Pollard needs more touches.

Man, I would love for them to put in a call to Carolina and see about DJ Moore. I think this offense needs another weapon.

I'm not surprised Jerry would say this because he will never ever admit that it was a stupid contract.

Maybe, but not based on this game. The Packers have been thoroughly outplayed by the Jets and Redskins the last two weeks. They are just bad right now. It wouldn't shock anyone if they lose in Detroit next week.
