Go and look at their remaining schedule. They're likely not going to play a great defense unless you count ours as that. They play basically one or two good teams the rest of the way
Brad and Babe thought he was defensive player of the game. Keep singing his praises about tackling.Enviroag02 said:
Was at the game and curious if the tv announcers talked about Donovan Wilson having a great game. He seemed to be all over the field today.

Yeah our problem is that no matter what we do, the Eagles are almost a lock to win the division. I look at their schedule and can't see them going any worse than 13-4, and thats even if they lose twice to us.jtstanley4621 said:

Yep, I hadn't looked at their schedule before today and was stunned to see the quality of competition they have the rest of the way. Agreed 13-4 seems like the floor. Could absolutely see them getting stunned in the playoffs. They shouldn't be challenged very often on their way there if they're remotely decentInfection_Ag11 said:Yeah our problem is that no matter what we do, the Eagles are almost a lock to win the division. Just my opinion about QB having seen Rush on TV and in person. He's very much playing the Steve Beuerline role (Very good backup QB for those of you non old people).
But he's no Dak. There are certainly games where Dak has played worse than Rush had played. But there are plenty of games where Dak has been amazing and done things Rush cannot.
Point being, I'm glad we have Rush but looking to Dak returning.

The Cowboy's defense has not allowed 20 points to a team yet. It will be interesting to see how that goes against the Rams next week.
On the other side, Dallas has not scored more than 25 points in a game.
It's starting to look like we may see alot of ugly wins this year. I'm OK with that but hopefully the offense will continue to improve and hit their stride at the right time toward the end of the season.
My optimistic hope, is that we keep similar playcalling when Dak comes back. With that combined wtih the big upgrade at Qb, should be pretty formidableHubert J. Farnsworth said:jteagle said:

The bolded probably has a lot to do with the conservative offensive gameplan. They are really focusing on the run this season. The encouraging thing is that they seem to be hitting the passes when they need them. I've been pretty impressed with some of the throws Rush has made. Unlike most backups(captain check downs), he actually tries to push things down field.
It's not like they don't have some other guys including a pretty decide TE. I think Stafford just get tunneled in on his favorite guy. Didn't he do the same in Detroit when they had megatron?Tksymm7 said:
Kupp is literally their only offensive weapon.
Doesn't Kupp normally line up in the slot. Not saying Diggs can't line up against him in the slot, but think Rams can move him around making it hard to keep the best CB on him.Ag Natural said:
It'll be interesting to see how much we can get Diggs on Kupp. That guy had 19 targets last night. Diggs gets at least 2 picks in that scenario right?

Based on comments coming into the season about Stafford's elbow, it sounds like he's on the verge of needing Tommy John surgery. Red flags in how they were describing it and how they were rehabbing it with a program used for MLB pitchers. Unless it's bone chips (which this isn't), a frayed UCL that will ultimately need to be replaced via TJ surgery is the injury MLB pitchers have

ESPN is always good for a laugh and the NFL Power Rankings did not disappoint.
1) Chiefs
2) Bills
3) Eagles
4) Packers
5) Dolphins
6) Rams
7) Vikings
8) Bucs
9) Ravens
10) Bengals
11) Cowboys
The narrative this morning was that the Cowboys haven't beaten anybody and yet the Bengals are right there. IMHO the Rams aren't a Top 10 team any more, the Eagles are not Top 5 and the Ravens are overrated.
The teams that I currently have a problem with are the Rams and the Bengals. I think both teams have looked mediocre at best, and have major, major flaws. In response to your post specifically, I think the Ravens are very good. Their offense is one of the best in the NFL, and while their defense has been poor, they haven't been healthy. Baltimore also has a good history on defense and I believe they will figure it out.jteagle said:
