He filed a $250MM suit. It does not mean he was given anything near that amount. The settlement amount was confidential, but he probably came out okay.

Wood and Pierce's claim is they put up the bond for KR through their 501(c)(4). Now that he's been found not guilty, the bond money is supposed to go whoever posted the bond. Sue them anyways. Make a media circus.

Lots of people in the media that want to make Wood look bad.

Get some attorney that will agree to do it pro-bono or for a small cut.

I was watching the commentary feed and they had a split screen during the lawyer interview. I think they were watching the CBS Now streaming news channel. One screen was showing protesters outside the courthouse. There are three times more media than there are protesters.

There were a group of I think seven, maybe eight people, marching behind a sign down the sidewalk toward the courthouse. Instantly surrounded by 75 photographers.
