I thought it was one of the best episodes in the series. For sure one of the best since season 1.

Can we talk about the secret service just showing up to a reservation and killing all the dogs?

anyone got a screen shot of Dawn Oliviera (Sarah) ripping off that dress? She looks like she works out!
She's stunningly beautiful and in fantastic shape but I'd bet you dollars to donuts that was a body double.
Yep. Her sedated, monochromatic speech is really stupid. Also, the scene where she explains rose wine to Jamie is stupid, stupid, stupid. He's not some redneck wrangler. It's like Sheridan went to Cannes and discovered rose and thought that he'd explain it to his viewers who he was sure didn't know anything about it.emando2000 said:$240 Worth of Pudding said:Matsui said:

It could be her. She's the EXACT role she was in House of Lies. It's a stolen character.
Attitude
Dress
Tone
Everything
If you're seeing this character for the first time then I'm sure it doesn't bother you. But it bugs me that she's the exact same character. In House of Lies she was bad for Marty Kaan and her lines were similar. Her sedated tone is exactly the same. Sorry, I know I'm rambling but it's copied and unoriginal to me.
Recall that in a previous episode they decided to make this a massive event for publicity sake. John was supposed to be able to avoid lots of meetings because everyone that wanted to meet with him would be at the ranch.FishrCoAg said:$240 Worth of Pudding said:jwoodmd said:

I agree. The branding scene was not realistic but I loved the rest of it

All of the female characters sans the senator are absolutely terrible.

And the little jealousy thing between the Senator and Piper is ridiculous and Dutton shuffling back and forth.
The positive is they are really doing some good work with Monica. She has been solid this season.

Pure speculation here, I think the bad guys or girl in this case are going to convince Jamie they want to impeach John. He will fall for this completely thinking they want him to be the Governor. In fact after implicating Jamie deeply they will assassinate or try to assassinate John. Jamie will then be killed by Beth and Beth will join a convent. No really, I'm serious!
Jamie doesn't have enough street smarts to accomplish this. Plus, Beth has the ultimate Sword of Damocles hanging over his head.$240 Worth of Pudding said:Straight Talk said:

I think Jaime finds a
Way to end up with the ranch. He's been getting effed over by that psychopath family for years.
He's gonna get his revenge.
I think Rip ends up with the ranch. Jaime kills Beth and Rip goes Rip on Jaime. The other son just fades off with his family.Capstone said:
Only if Beth is dead, cuz she would straight up murder him if Jamie figured out a way to end up with the ranch.

After I saw how he allowed Teeter's character to continue to talk like Sling Blade every episode, it didn't surprise me when I heard her speak.
I thought they were going to clean that up, but it seems worse than ever.ExpressAg11 said:
