I couldn't follow the deal that Beth made with that other guy. Except that she put the land in a conservation easement which I guess makes it untouchable now. Otherwise totally lost.

As I understood it, Beth ended up owning controlling interest of Schwartz and Meyer via a deal she landed with Marker Equities.

Market Equities was likely going to sue her to regain control of Schwartz and Meyer because she was now going against them (acting out of bad faith, etc).

She sold/signed over her shares to M.E. biggest competitor. Schwartz and Meyer was pulling in about $500 million a year.

That is money that M.E. will no longer get because a judge isn't going to reverse the sale later on down the road.

Combine that by effectively killing their airport (land conservancy) and it represents several billion in lost money and revenue for M.E.

Lots of women love Beth because a lot of her qualities are things they wish they had.

1. She's a ball buster. Most women wouldn't dare act the way she does towards men.
2. She gets to **** Rip anytime she wants. Women love him.
3. She genuinely doesn't care what other people other than her dad and husband think. Many women wish they could be that way.

No woman should want to emulate Beth Dutton. She has no class and cares about no one but herself. She looks/acts like a strung out, high dollar, alcoholic *****, who is so angry with her own life that she's a raging ***** to everyone else. Her quips are popular because many women think being a mean smartass for "likes" and "views" makes them clever, cool, attractive, independent, and righteous. Those women are dead wrong.

Beth's biggest problem is she's not believable. Always with a ready-made insult or perfectly crafted speech. Never vulnerable or afraid of anything, whether it's a pack of wolves or contract killers. That's not real life. While her outlandishness was entertaining at first, it's become incredibly tiresome and unbelievable as she's never evolved at all.

Let's be clear. Beth is the fantasy...desired state.

I still like Beth but yeah her deal with Jamie is a bit too over the top.

There are only two things I like about Beth.

Beth and her pure hate for Jaime is just too much. Her cans are the only reason to see her on the show
