When she flew to Texas, she at least could have had a Malibu rental instead of the generic big black Suburban.

They spent a whole lot more than that. Turnpike alone is about a $1Million per show.

Sales like that would for sure have those things. Most special cattle sales I've been to offer a free meal at a minimum.

I've been accepting of "Yellowstone's" silliness since I like the show and the premise was such a good -- and unusual -- one.

But this season without Costner has just been nothing but filler wrapped around about two minutes of actual plot. I didn't even pay attention to much of what happened last night as it was obvious they are just killing time.

Plus, the tax thing -- and I'm sure the way the resolve it -- is ridiculous.

I had been a defender of some of Sheridan's antics, but that was ****ing lazy. I would say the only redeeming part of the episode was the ending.

I liked Beth's name for Jamie on her phone.

I mean, the show has had all the seriousness of a telemundo soap opera/Dallas hybrid from episode 1, so no huge surprise that it is coming to a painful end.

Yeah, they will sell the ranch to the Tribe for $1, with a life estate that allows them to all live in the house for the rest of their lives.

Yeah, that episode was all about look at me from TS. 1.5 hrs and maybe 15 min of plot and the rest was about the stupid horses and auction and the pool party. Dude, we know you wrote the series. We get it.
Covidians, Communists, CNN, FOX, and all other MSM are enemies of the state and should be treated as such.

DVR and fast forwarded thru alot of last nights episode

The whole house scene / pool party with Sheridan was too much

Rip story of Travis and how they are friends
And all the filler time at the auction/ party at Yellowstone

Episode was literally 3 minutes of plot and rest filler

This show has crashed into the ground

I thought Rip's story about the bar fight was the best part of the episode. By far the best character in the show, we've never really seen Rip talk like that before.

That scene felt more like we were seeing Cole Hauser than Rip Wheeler. His whole appearance is different when he is not in character, and he seems like a fairly gregarious guy.

Show has been all Dodge before now. All Dodge trucks, Jaime had a Jeep. Crew drove back from 6666 to the ranch in a Chevy or GMC, then Beth had the Suburban. Wondered if it was coincidence.

The 6666's ranch is all Ford & always Red. Then Travis Truck(Sheridan's Truck) is a Ford F-450 Crew Cab 4x4. In the episode when he takes Jimmy to Texas, lets Jimmy know the seats are Caiman Leather seats.

Something that I just figured out that y'all may have already known, is that the lead detective working on the murder case is Rory Cochrane, who played Slater in Dazed and Confused. Thought he looked familiar but couldn't place him until looking it up.

If that is the case, it seems like they are writing Kayce out of the show. Not dying like presumably happens to Jamie, but his family off doing their own thing. They've made it clear he considers his immediate family more important than the ranch.

I don't know if I saw it somewhere or if I've just assumed that they are going to send Rip and Beth to Texas to the 6666s. Seems like that convo in the "bar" in Texas was a little too heavy handed.

Don't think it'll have quite the same catch to it as part of Yellowstones charm is how beautiful all the scenery is. Dusty ass Texas ranch isn't quite the same IMO.

IIRC he owns the 6666 in the show, or a neighboring ranch. He was in the scene where Jimmy visits the gang when they are tending cattle in Texas.

The Yellowstone was leasing ground from the 6666's.

Yes, and the guy in the scene he is asking about plays the owner of the 6666.
