For you road trippers in North America, don't forget about the Miami race in 2022. I think it's in May on a new circuit in the Dolphin's Stadium parking lot.
Pretty sure this one is more than sold out already. Could be wrong.

So in the last 4 laps, Hamilton had a 12 second lead erased by an accident, his competitor was able to change tires, and the race stewards cleared out all the traffic between them.

Yes but not all racing is the same or even fair. Lewis built up a lead that was erased by the stewards and Max having fresh soft tires. It really wasn't racing at all. It was a forgone conclusion.
Agree completely, if that wasn't clear. I feel like MB left Hamilton out there on old tyres because they knew the rules and assumed the race would finish with the safety car. The rules changed and Hamilton didn't have a chance.

They should've pit in the first yellow. I agree with the decision on the second, obviously. Lewis was worried about those tires early

If that was the reason MB decided to keep Lewis out there, they would have said it on the radio. Instead they said it was not wanting give up track position.

Just answer this….would y'all want the race to be decided by the drivers and teams or the race director?
This specific incident, not previous inconsistencies. Those have no bearing on this one.

lots of focus on the last lap but i think lewis not having to give the position back after turn 7 on lap 1 is just as controversial.
