Depends on the show. Some manage not to give anything away - Mad Men was pretty notorious for previews that told you absolutely nothing about what to expect. Others can give away a little too much.

On the rewatch, I thought the Sand Snakes were fine, I think it was mainly book readers who complained, and in turn they helped sour the experience for those of us who should have had no expectations going in. This is why a show only thread should not mention book content AT ALL. NO comparisons.

If you recall, king stannis would have elevated him to a Stark and made him warden of the north. Jon's response was "I am bound by oath to the Night's Watch". If Jon is dead but resurrected, he will be free to do as he pleases.

I suspect it's something like this. I have no advanced knowledge so I'm only speculating. Episode description for tonight (on Dish at least) says "Jon Snow's fate is revealed". I suspect they will reveal him as all dead and not mostly dead tonight. However, I suspect that the Red Priestess, Melisandre, will perform some mojo later in the season and viola, Jon Snow is dead and Jon Stark or Jon Targaryen (if you believe in that sort of thing) is alive and well.

Once again, I'm only guessing here as I haven't read the books & even if I had, we're all caught up now from what I understand.

One thing that bothers me about watching the last season: Jaime fights twice and he is slow and uncoordinated. Then you see barristan selmy, who was jaimes only equal prior to losing a hand. Barristan was his mentor to an extent. Barristan is quick and graceful, Jaime said he is like a painter who only paints with red.

Losing a hand doesn't keep Jaime from being fleetfoot or smooth. And if I recall correctly, jaime killed Ned's right hand sword in season 1 dual weilding. (Stuck him in the eye with his off hand.) I think they are making him overly clunky.

The whole bringing The Mountain back to life as a Frankenstien-ish King's Guard was a totally abysmal decision. I hope they just kind of recognize their mistake and write him back out - quickly.

I think it will hit the big ones of the wall, Dany, kings landing with Jaime and cersei, arya, sansa Theon and the boltons, and maybe reintroduce bran.

The imp, brienne, littlefinger, varys, white walkers and Sam are left out.
