Perhaps whoever ends up ruling the Iron Islands teams up with Mereen. The Greyjoys have a navy, Mereen does not after the entire fleet went up flames. Mereen has a capable army, the Iron Islands do not. They definitely explained that they want to build up on land, but are currently incapable.
Geographically, I wouldn't bet on it. Iron Islands are west of Westeros. Mereen is far, far east.
Is this world round?

That's an interesting question and I'm curious if it has been addressed.

I could tell you but not sure i should. Its been addressed (not in the books) but by GRRM directly in an email answering a fan and confirmed in some other interview once. He used to answer fanmail more prior to the HBO series when it was a manageable fanbase.

It certainly has not been addressed in the show. However I don't believe the answer would be spoilery in relation to anything in the show or books. I don't think it's been pertinent to anything either way. It's basically a moot point either way.

If you really want to know Google it I guess.

Just had a terrible thought. Could Ramsay have knocked up Sansa?

Littlefinger is a back-stabbing little ******* who helped start the Game of Thrones because he couldn't get his **** wet with the right Tully sister. Then he develops a thing for Catelyn's daughter instead. I believe you are wrong.

Littlefinger is probably second only to Ramsay in evilness, but dammit if I don't love his character. Hope we see him again soon.

Anyone else think it was strange that Theon/Reek would just up and bail on Sansa before she made it to the wall. I get that she now has Brienne and Pod but it seems like he'd want to stick around, escort her to the wall, and make sure she gets there safe. I don't get his desire to return home considering his pop's disdain for him. It's not like it's that far of a trek to the Wall and he pretty much owes the Starks for life considering his betrayal. If something happened to Sansa on her trip it'd be a huge regret to not personally get her there safely.

Maybe this is just my interpretation of the scene, but I think Reek knows he's at the end. He goes a different trail to draw Ramsey's trackers. Telling Sansa that he's going "home" may have been a nice way of saying it so as not to trouble her soft little head.

He may actually want to go home to the Iron Islands, but he wasn't very welcomed there on his last visit and has to know it would be worse now.

I kinda think he is going back to Winterfell. Hell he was basically raised there with the Stark kids. He'll want his revenge on Ramsey. Maybe that's what the "gift" is.

The thing that disappoints me is that book readers "spolied" this Jon comeback. The resurrection would've been way more powerful if the ENTIRE world wasn't expecting it. And let's be clear: it was only expected because of book reader theories.

I know and remember that Lord of light guy coming back. But solely as a show watcher I barely remember or care about that guy or that event. The point is if there were no books, no one would've thought John was coming back. Maybe I'm not that creative, but there's no way in hell I could've come up with that idea that Jon can just deus ex machina back if I saw the show in a vaccum.

But loud and consistent and ever present chorus of book readers shouting he's coming back from the instant season 5 ended, ruined the reveal. Technically not spoiling, I know.

To be fair I've often been confused about plot and characters and book readers have always helped me with it. I'm not saying book readers have spoiled the show or been annoying the whole time. But in this case, I think they "spoiled" the surprise.

This is not about book readers it's about your inability to pay attention and retain info from the show. I know I remembered the resurrection with the brotherhood. A dude raised another dude from the dead after being struck down by the Hound. Pretty big event, the whole getting raised from the dead.

Jon Snow coming back to life was as difficult to predict as picking the over/under on Charlie Strong's record this year at 10.

I realize and accept I am not some sort of cerebral consumer of GoT.
Not "random" at all. The guy was bad-mouthing Cersei. Strong is Cersei's protector.

Watching the "After Thrones" show, they refer to Arya's scene and "the waif" turning into Jaqen H'ghar.

Couple questions: Were Jagen and the waif never shown together? I meant to rewatch last season, but never made it all the way through.

Second, they referred to him as "the faceless man." My understanding, or assumption, from the beginning of this storyline is that he is A faceless man, suggesting the existence of others. Is it more correct to think that he is the only faceless man, and Arya is training to become him like some kind of Giver/Receiver thing?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.
