Smith was safe, but I didn't expect us to win this one anyway. We were always gonna be at a disadvantage tonight on the mound and the offense didn't do enough. You can't let the same guy dominate you twice in one season. We didn't make any adjustments.

The frustrating part is all three of their early runs came from walks. If we pull Reynolds after the third, that might not have happened.

Oh well, if we can beat Oregon State twice, beating Florida is manageable if we play our best.

That was dumb by him to run us out of a promising inning. That's not a risk you take in that situation.

I'm a little encouraged that Florida only managed 6 hits against the weakest arms they'll see from us. They're not a great hitting team, but we can't give them walks.
