I love Austin Homebrew personally.
Nice catch, I have a reddit account that's so very dormant I don't even remember my creds.Ornlu said:

Not only has HomebrewHQ shut down, Stuby's has also gone wholesale only and they've permanently shuttered their storefront. We're down to just BrewHound in far west Fort Worth.
Just placed my first order. Quick and easy. Thanks for the recommendation.danieljustin06 said:
Sad to hear. I'm closer to TX Brewing in Haltom City. Austin HB is good for shipping.
They announced it by facebook & email on 10/4 or 10/5.AlaskanAg99 said:Holy crap, when did this happen?Ornlu said:

Weird. Normally AHB. I have not brewed in a while but have ingredients on hand for my next batch! Aiming for one of the next few weekends.danieljustin06 said:
So Texas Brewing won't let you order grain less than a pound. Austin Homebrew's website is not loading for some reason. Where have ya'll been ordering your supplies?
I shop local homebrew supply for grain. I've even used colorado grown malts with good results.danieljustin06 said:

The trouble is that there's only 1 local homebrew supply left in all of DFW, and it's in far west Fort Worth. The other 5 stores have permanently closed in the last 2 years.

Dumped an APA today. Life just went sideways and sort of forgot about it.

Feb makes 18 years of brewing.
I'm tranisitiong to more sessionalbe beers. Moving away from hoppy beer simply because I can't drink it before it fades. To the point I'm thinking of a 1/2bbl fermenter because if you'll spend the time might as well go big volume.
nice!AlaskanAg99 said:
