It was a rumor, a rumor with smoke, but something to that effect. I think the word was he blackmailed a hostess into having sex somehow, her dad finds out, a payment is made for silence, and business as usual continues in Austin.

And if you recall the male coach having sex with a female student (willingly or otherwise) was swept under the rug and then they had the female coach do something similar with a female student (willing supposedly) and less discretion was used about it going public.
