Yea hard to imagine there's not a better option on the farm than Jansen. He can't hit and doesn't know the strike zone well enough for ABS.

There's not at the moment. We just lost that McIver guy (may not have the name right) that had some mlb experience. He got claimed by somebody last week.

You have to factor in that he wouldn't get to play against the Rangers anymore, so he's really just an average player who rakes for 18 games a season.

We needed more offense so we decided to sign guys like Joc, Cutch, Jansen, and Haggerty.

Not a great recipe when you have Seager, Langford, and Smith severely underperforming.
