Now it gets real. We've been on cruise control so far. Its time to turn up the heat and raise the stakes. We've watched the other hosts get sent home. Marsch couldn't save Canada. Azteca couldn't save Mexico. Time for the Americans to take the next step. We face a Belgium squad that hasn't really looked great at all except when they beat lowly New Zealand. But make no mistake that they have have some extremely talented guys that can flip the switch at any moment. In fact they whooped our ass back in March 5-2. This is a different USMNT than that one. This one plays with speed and fire that we've been dreaming of seeing. They can beat Belgium. The world already didn't like us. Now they really hate us. Well screw them. This team can make something special happen. In a line that Poch stole from the Aggie Volleyball Team, WHY NOT US?

Will be interesting to see if Dest/Freeman combination can slow down Doku on the flanks and how Ream/Richards deal with Lukaku.

I know it's not the players but the Belgian FA look really stupid with this. It's no different than if Balogun was injured and they didn't know if he was going to play then he shows up and plays. Get over it.
