Bentancur sent off for head butting Shaw after Shaw pushed him to the ground for a bad tackle. Shaw and Van Hecke with yellow cards. Amazing no one else got sent off. Ref did a pretty good job all things considered.

Really just need to fast forward to our next manager. Carrick isn't fixing this. Got outplayed at home by Spurs, managed to luck into a lead and then botched it by playing deep against a team down a man.

I don't know, I'm frustrated. At least we made subs around 60', and the Baleba one especially helped a lot. And until he got thrown in the net by freaking Dominic Solanke I wasn't thinking that Martinez was playing bad. And I don't agree that we were parking the bus, we lost possession and they capitalized… but….

I mean, WTF, how in the heck do we keep doing this up a man? This is un-freaking-believable… (and Everton last year I think was under Amorim; for some reason this is just apparently who we are… should opposing teams just pick some bench player to start and tell him, "OK at kickoff, just run over, kick Bruno in the nuts, and get sent off… that will put us right where we want them"?)
