I don't think he's wrong but also...

Kind of hard to blame it entirely on Wilcox given that the team looked poor from game 1. You can say that they should have strengthened more during the off-season, but it's hard to claim that the talent level was worse on September 1st than it was on June 1st. And yet this team still managed to look bad against Hull, large parts of the game against Ipswich, and pretty much every game this season with the exception of the mighty Sabah FC. That's not on Wilcox.

I've personally thought they have been gambling way too hard on Bruno carrying the team the last few years. he keeps proving me wrong. But, this season. he does not look the same.

I agree you can't blame it all on Wilcox. This is a Glazer/Jim problem ultimately. But, Wilcox has gone into hiding since the season started off poorly. i get what Licha is saying.

I think Cunha could be a potential Bruno replacement; it seems like second striker is his most natural position, but when Bruno is around, you better find another position you can play. So left wing it is for now. (Not that Bruno is really a second striker, but you wouldn't play both)

Or spend a crap ton of money to get Palmer, who is a childhood fan, but I don't really see them spending that. I mean, that's basically the whole summer budget for a year; we aren't at the point where dropping a transfer record fee really makes actual sense.

Right or wrong, Carrick is most likely the first to go if/when the team is still in the bottom half of the league next month. Players reportedly don't want to see him go, but I mean...they should probably stop sucking then. Lisandro's contract runs out end of this season. Club retains an option but I highly doubt he's with the club next season. He doesn't want to be here. He'll be 29 in January. Don't want to lose players on a free but probably the right move for all parties at this point.

Seems like we should have worked a little harder to move him in the summer; I remember there being rumors bubbling about him and Atletico Madrid. Wouldn't be what we would have wanted, probably, but more than what we get in January or zero in next summer.

(Now… if we want to pile on Wilcox about something, this actually is his responsibility)
