Perfect world/fair expectation before the season started would be 7 points. Two wins from promoted teams and a tie at EVE.

Hull away was a trap game to open the season. And now knowing they are 2-0-1 with 7 points that loss isn't quite as bad as it looked.

The tie today isn't a bad tie but it was dropped points. Watching we should have won. That's the lost points for me.

I'd feel a lot better about getting pegged back at the death and dropping two points if we had beaten Hull. Draw in and of itself at Everton isn't horrible but needed those 3 points after losing to Hull. But I also don't think our performance particularly warranted a win.

Xg on target was .73 Everton to .93 United, but Lammens had to make 4 saves compared to 1 for Pickford. So, yeah, draw was probably the fair result.

(Btw, the xG on target in Forest-Spurs yesterday, which I mentioned above as being a pretty terrible watch: .01 to .00. Woof. At least our bittersweet draw was somewhat entertaining. I may use Forest-Spurs to induce sleep.)

Why is Mazraoui playing as an insanely high inverted wingback? He's often occupying space around the 18 when United are in possession in the offensive third and Mbeumo is out by the sideline. It reminds of when EtH played him as an attacking mid for a game which...did not work out.
