Wow that was the worst penalty call I have seen in a long time.I want Arsenal to win but that was just terrible.

There are slight contact but that was a dive. Straight out should have been punished for it. And the non call at the other end was interesting. The defender was awfully wide.

It was ridiculously bad.

Why does Ozil always look like someone peed in his cereal? Dude looks unhappy every time I see him play.

I love watching Wilshire play. He likes contact and seems like he wants to fight.

Given the rumors of Tuchel/Milistat hatred, I'd assumed that Tuchel was a pipe dream. If he is indeed on board, that is huge. He is probably one of the best options we could have possibly gotten.

Curious to see how he rates/utilizes some of our current players. Honestly wouldn't mind seeing some of the 30+ guys cut loose and replaced with some younger options.

Tuchel not done. From what I read on other board, all of this is being fueled by Tuchel informing Bayern Munich (was talkong to them as well) that he had accepted another job. Media is speculating that it is us. He supposedly was also talking with PSG.

Starting to hear a good deal more "Tuchel to PSG"

So UEFA is changing their cup-tied policy next year which means players that switch clubs in January will be allowed to play in European competitions regardless of having played from another team. So Auba would have been eligible for the EL if the move had happened next year. Rumor that the change is happening because Barcelona are pissed about Coutinho not being allowed to play in the CL.

Not sure how I feel about that. Would have benefited us this year but I could see the bigger clubs abusing this change by purchasing bigger players who's teams had already been knocked out of CL. Think I would prefer the rule stay as is.

The rule should stay as is. If you buy/transfer in a player in the winter window and they are already cup tied, they you get the benefit of buying the player at a slightly reduced fee. At least thats the argument I would have used if I was Barca. Tell Pool "look, you guys wanted to transfer him but cup tied him. He's not worth as much anymore, so out offer is less that what it would have been." If Barca overpaid for a player who is ineligible, thats on them.

Now seeing that Tuchel has apparently agreed to sign with a club and it is most likely PSG or Chelsea

Lol soccer click bait is the worst

Perfect Cazorla replacement' Arsenal fans go nuts as shock 75m transfer news emerges in Spain

I click and then see:

Arsenal transfer news includes reaction from fans to news Real Madrid star Isco could be on the market
wangus12

Or the fact that Man City are going to sign Isco. They do eventually have to let some of their players go right?

Auba gives up his chance for a hat-trick and lets Laca take it and score. Good Bull

That first PK looked weak to me, but I'll take the 3 points!

Looked weak on the replay but that defender was dumb to stick his foot in there. I can't blame the ref because that looked like a clear PK to me until I saw the replay.

Man I'm glad Stoke may be going down this year

Ha thought this was funny. Along with the first comment on reddit.

Didn't get to watch Stoke match. What formation were we playing with Laca & Auba playing together? Start together or 2nd half sub?
wangus12
How long do you want to ignore this user?
2nd half sub for Welbeck at ~60 minutes. Laca up top and Auba on the left. Auba's pace off the wing caused Stoke issues and he should have scored from a beautiful Ozil through ball. Went for the chip and Butland made a good save. When Lacazette came on we became much more effective in linking the midfield up because he like to check in for the ball rather than run off.

And he doesn't suck as bad as Welbeck

So they were running a 4-3-3?
started with Welbeck at ST and Auba/Ozil on the wing?
wangus12

Welbeck/Ozil on the wings and Auba through the middle. Shifted Auba out wide when Lacazette came on. His pace makes him a much better wide player than Laca would be and I believe he started as a winger with Dortmund when they still had Lewandowski (moved to striker when he left for Bayern)

Makes sense. I'd like to see Auba & Laca play together more either 4-3-3 with Auba wide or a 2 ST setup (3-4-1-2 or 4-3-1-2 or 4-2-2-2). Otherwise I see no reason for both to stay on the roster.

Realize it's FIFA, but I play a 4-2-2-2 in my FIFA 18 Arsenal CM and Auba/Laca are a beastly ST pair.
wangus12
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I play them in a 4-3-3. I rotate who plays up top between Laca/Auba and the RW is Mhki.
