I fully admit we deserved to lose but I have to ask of anyone understood the announcer reasoning why Kane pushing Koscirlny was not a foul. The anouncers kept saying he jumped early so he was not in an unnatural position to have his hands on his shoulders. Jumping early does not mean it is not a foul of he gained leverage to either stay in the air or prevent the defender from jumping. I am not sure if he gained an advantage or not but since he initiated contact before heading the ball there is a resonable chance he jumped to soon and used Kos to stay in the air.

Lacazette out 4-6 weeks after a knee operation. This is exactly the nightmare scenario I was talking about when we sold off Giroud. Danny Welbeck now the only FWD option we have left to try and win Europa and get back to UCL.

This is pretty much a disaster.

Lacazette apparently had knee surgery this morning and is out 4-6 weeks. Probably a meniscus repair from the sound of it, but this is totally out of left field.

That means Danny Welbeck is the immediate option off the bench and then I assume Big Eddie Nketiah is third.

Also means Welbeck is starting up top in all the Europa matches since PEA is cup-tied.

What does that mean?
Cup games he played for Dortmund this season prevent him from playing for us in Europa this season.

He has to wear a different number this season for Europa because Alexis wore 7 for us in Europa competition earlier this season.
