He had one absolutely gorgeous cross that 3 dynamo attackers all managed to whiff on. It was literally at the perfect angle, height, and speed. Somehow all three managed to avoid it when the slightest touch would have given us a win. It made me long for the days of Will Bruin. He absolutely would have found a way to get on the end of that cross (and then blast it 9 miles over the crossbar at point blank range).

Love it.

He had a direct FK a couple games ago from the right side of the 18, and he whipped that sucker in at the perfect "if anyone touches this ball it's going in" height/velocity... but no one got there.

Huge fan of his work, and he's a perfect addition for the last 15ish minutes of any deadlocked game

My friends and I have been talking about Sanchez for a few weeks now. He's a joy to watch, and he did supply what we needed in Frisco, but no one else finished the chances he created.

Tonight, I'll be out in Loc C with Under the Radar Brewery for a pre-game tailgate. Come on out for a couple pre-game brews.

Flying to Portland in the morning for timbers/earthquake Friday night then taking the train to Seattle for dynamo/sounders. Sitting in the away supporters section at Century Link.

What a game! Love it! Wanted Sanchez to get a goal there.

Btw, my friend and I ran into Glenn Davis on Saturday, the play by play guy for Dynamo games. He was friendly and asked about which games we'd been watching that day (which featured the finals for the FA Cup, DFB Pokal, and Copa Del Rey).

I don't want to take too much away from a game against a half-strength RSL team that's been dreadful this year, but I felt like our defense played really well last night. I love DaMarcus Beasley, but Remick is a solid replacement when the time comes.

Last year I felt like we had Barnes, Alex, Deric, and a bunch of guys. We have improved so much in a year. And we've done it without spending a ton - as many of y'all know, we have one of the lowest payrolls in MLS. I don't particularly like the sound of that, but it's hard to argue against the amount of improvement we've managed to show even on a budget.

Hopefully that means we won't lose any of our key players to moves for more money. In an ideal scenario, we'd be looking around to see where we can make another impact signing or two.

I was half paying attention at the time but I think the broadcast crew mentioned that Matt Jordan is about to leave for Argentina on a scouting trip. That said, the consensus is that he doesn't have much money to spend even if he does have an open DP spot.
