This is what I was thinking. And don't forget the old Arsenal standard of at least a 3 month period where everyone but Arsene is injured (and some might argue he's got a chronic head injury at this point...).

Kind of makes you question Jack's loan though. He did need the minutes (and AW could be pushing him out permanently) but it wouldn't be horrible having that added depth right now.

Not unexpected. Would have liked to see Gibbs and Lucas get a start given the competition but I can live with that lineup.

Apparently we are being forced by UEFA to wear our yellow away kit at the Emirates because it clashes with Basel's home kit. Basel's away kit is all white which apparently "clashes" with the white sleeves on our home kit
