No Ramsey for another several weeks. Giroud appears to be short as well.

I imagine we'll have the Koss-Moustache backline. No way does Gabriel get brought in. Not sure what else Xhaka has to do to prove he should start, but with this being a big Coq may still get the nod for some extra bite in the midfield. Perez up top.

Hearing some chatter that AW is liking the speed and fluidity of an Alexis type up top vs Giroud. Wondering if we could see some movement there in Jan? Maybe OG out and 1-2 more W/ST types coming in?

Its obvious he is starting to settle into the role. I do think he is much better wide still, but with Iwobi and Walcott hitting form, this is working well for now. OG won't jump ship that soon and we shouldn't let him go. Alexis still doesn't have much of a hold up game. He is always looking to get in behind rather than checking to the ball. OG offers a lot in that aspect. Its a long season and we know we will hit a run of matches where it won't work and we need OG's height and power.

Also seen a good deal of speculation that playing Alexis at CF may have been a condition of Alexis to consider his extension.
