Talking points about "Early Childhood Education" are out. This body squashed Lina's pet projects back in January. Now 1/2 the speakers are talking about the need for childcare. Which is what it is, subsidized childcare under the false guise of "education".

One interesting issue going on with FIFA is who's covering the security costs for all these matches?

Theres a big issue covering costs in Foxborough. The city has said no, they cant afford it. FIFA demands local officials cover the cost.

This week's court should be one for the ages. Will the Exec. Director of Harris County Flood Control District survive or will this be her day of reckoning that Comm. Ellis alluded to?

We're on schedule with the CDBG program per last court, but now asking the GLO for a 9-month extension. We're also not behind on the CDBG program, so let's throw another $12 million to staff augmentation for HCFCD. How do they plan to spend all that in a year or so?
