This is a bunch of BS. Chances are they are making **** up so you'll drop your request. I submitted a request for a single email once and they wanted something like $100 in labor to find it.

What was the exact wording of your request? I'm not saying you messed up or that they aren't stonewalling/maliciously complying with your request, but if your request was overbroad it may have invited this response.
