The direction this is back building from is the same direction the 2016 storms built from, that was the storm that had hail that didn't just put dents in roofs it just came right on in and totaled cars sitting in garages.

I mean I haven't seen for certain but that cell that just went over Goldthwaite had to have something conical sticking out the bottom of it for the radar presentation.

Storms rapidly blew up from Aledo to Denton. All likely producing golf ball or larger hail now.

Storm across Northern Tarrant country continues to strengthen, increasing rotation and likely will produce up to baseball hail coming into Denton county. Another supercell will move across the same areas shortly.
Not sure about west frisco but sirens just went on for about 2 minutes. Dogs on couch next us howling. Funny seeing the up close howl. Can hold them but doesn't stop the howl.

Sirens are because of a likely tornado on the ground. Dangerous storm came out of Tarrant country will approach Frisco in a few. Another storm across NE Tarrant still has a look to it. The 3rd storm is in Ellis country which started in SW Texas around 430 is still capable of producing tornadoes.
Sirens were going off in Lewisville 10 min ago. Pretty scary.

We got in the bathroom right as they canceled the warning. Thankfully kids went back down easy.
Same here. I will say the sirens were louder than they've ever been so I think they've upgraded them. I could hear two from different directions.Spaceship said:

In the past, I could barely hear one with a sound machine on.
Yeah... started with moving the kids downstairs to our room...then to the bathroom closet. Few minutes afterwards, they said the rotation has broadened out and the warning cancelled.
