Huh? Seems two snake sticks, clamps whatever they are called, would do the trick. Heck the size you get Id go with a real thick rubber glove that extends well up my wrist, to the elbo if possible.

Would not recommend it but they do use this method.

Fortunately the appraiser did not do a snake Check. Might of cost him a few thousand if the appraiser ran like a little girl.

What about those sticks people use to pick up trash without bending over. But instead of a spear on the end, it's a bingo dotter in multi colored ink. One poke on the head and you move on to the othe 80 million sneks you have at the house.

I've done that many times and it's by far the most dangerous thing I do. It's awesome/scary how quickly snakes can back out of that tube.

Killed a smaller (18-24 in) cottonmouth at mom and dads lake yesterday that was curled up under one of the kayaks. Ten little kids running around all day so he needed to go but this thread's help in identifying moccasins from water snakes came in handy for sure. The stripe behind the eye was the go to ID piece.

Didn't have my phone with me so no pics. Sorry.

i think my place is giving Mouth a run for his money.

Friday- 6 copperheads, 1 coachwhip (still alive)
Saturday- 2 copperheads, 1 texas brown (still alive but probably pissed after being played with by humans)
Sunday- 1 cottonmouth, 1 blotched water snake (still alive)

i can post the 2 copperheads from Saturday tomorrow. I did not have my phone for others.

Side note, this year's crop of copperheads does not seem as populous as prior year. But that might have something to do with me keeping my yard cleaner than ever.
