I don't know if any of y'all used Ishtar Commander for Destiny 1, but it was finally updated for Destiny 2. MUCH better UI than the Bungie app.

Yeah, several folks on here use Destiny Item Manager, the Chrome extension. Both are better options than the Bungie app.

Thanks this is a sweet extension.

When it comes to exquisite gear is there an armor slot that is preferred? I had no idea you could only equip one at a time so when I picked up a helm to go with my chest slot I was pumped until it wouldn't let me equip both at the same time.

So how do you pick which one? LL? Slot? Secondary effects?

A lot of them are subclass specific so you want to be using those that match what subclass you're running. Other than that just pick whichever has perks you like, or is highest light if you're hurting in that department.

What spieg said. Most of it is just personal preference based on what class you are running.

If I'm raiding, I usually run the crest of Alpha Lupi chestpiece for my Titan. It drops an extra orb for supers and has a healing ability when I drop a barricade. In crucible, I can keep the chestpiece on or run something more offensive minded depending on the match type.

Yeah that is the one I'm using now..So it looks like they are like the ghosts items where you use them based on the activity. Like some ghosts are for certain planets or crucible so it is worth keeping a collection for situations.

Yep. I like running skull of ahamkara on my voidwalker in crucible so I basically can't be killed out of my nova bomb animation. For pve I usually run winters guile, which increase melee damage up to 5 stacks for each melee kill you get. It allows me to OHK orange bar enemies and two hit most yellow bars at 5 stacks.

Is there a better exotic helmet than foetracer?

It cracks me up every time I pump the last 4 rounds of my 5 round burst into some fool who thinks he's about to pop around the corner and surprise me. Suckers don't realize they're stepping into rounds already flying at them...

Any other epic gear worth always keeping upgraded?

I'm a big fan of the celestial nighthawk! I'm not sure what the multiplier is in D2, but in D1 it did 6 times the damage in a single shot. It's great for taking down bosses. Plus the eyes of the helmet light up whenever you aim down sight (you can't see it, but that will be the last thing your opponent sees). I also like Knucklehead radar (radar is always active when aiming down sights with your primary) and the Lucky raspberry chest piece.

1.0.3.1 The one with more post-launch housekeeping.

Items
  • Fixed an issue in which players could lose access to the Veteran's Transmat Effect by deleting characters
  • Fixed an issue in which clan engrams would grant Trials of the Nine and raid rewards at only 10 Power
  • Fixed an issue in which the action button on Faction Rallies emblems displayed Discard instead of Store

Quests
  • Fixed an issue in which progress for the Exotic Quest Step "His Highness's Seal" was not incrementing properly

Raid
  • Fixed an issue in which raid milestones would not show for some players after the weekly reset (This didn't affect any raid rewards)
  • Fixed an issue in which players could enter a state where they are continuously killed if they finish a raid encounter at the exact moment of failure

Crucible
  • Added invisible physics and kill volumes to keep players inside the intended playable area on the following maps:
    • Eternity
    • Altar of Flame
    • Emperor's Respite
    • Legion's Gulch
    • Javelin-4
    • The Dead Cliffs
  • Added invisible physics to all stairs in The Dead Cliffs to allow grenades to bounce properly
  • Adjusted spawning system values to reduce the frequency of players respawning into dangerous situations on all maps




Also some PS4 update notes:
  • Messages app can share music.
  • "Leave this party" option on the quick menu
