The group is open and everyone should be automatically accepted without any approval by me. Bungie still makes you "request" to join but that's just a formality I think.

Do you want your kids to grow up without their father around? Because if you play Destiny, they'll grow up without their father around.


Kidding of course, but this game does take a bit of commitment and the more you play with us as a group the more enjoyment you'll get out of it.

You've got casual and hardcore PvE modes as well as casual and hardcore PvP modes. This game has a good story and will have endgame that'll keep us all playing for a while. Also, love it or hate it, it'll have DLC spread out to reel us back in once we're ready to take a break. Two expansions are already planned one for Winter 2017 and one for Spring 2018 both should be pretty good I'd expect.

ETA, stuff blows up in this game approximately every 0.15 seconds. It is completely in your wheelhouse. Just don't buy protein shakes for your marathon training for maybe 48 hours and you've got this paid for

Engrams that drop out in the world are determined when they drop. Rewards from any of the various vendors will keep leveling up as you do until you actually claim it from them.

LL is determined at drop, but it looks at your inventory and vault to determine your max possible LL, so you don't have to worry about wearing your biggest LL gear if it doesn't fit your current needs

Correct! Just go ahead and decode those. The rewards are the ones that will be granted near your current light level, aka power level, when you receive them.

so if you infuse a legendary that's 265 with an exotic that's 270+ will that raise the legendary above 265?

I don't want to waste one of my exotics if that's not going to work

well nevermind, i've gotten a few legendary weapons that are 272

In case this quest-line is a spoiler, I'll cover it just to be safe. Got a power weapon quest line to start randomly today.

Had a heavy weapon quest drop where I had to kill cabal. It dropped while I was killing cabal on Earth, but the quest then sent me to Nessus. I had to pick up 5 communications by killing random cabal until I got to step two. The next step now says "Await the World-Eater."

What in the world did I just get myself into??! lol

So it took me way to long to figure out you can only infuse weapons of the same type. Not Kinetic/Energy/Power but to infuse a kinetic autorifle you can use a kinetic or energy autorifle but not any pulse rifle, hand cannon, etc.
