Only got about 2 missions in before I had to peel myself away and get some sleep.

First impression: Its fire.

Music is sublime. Movement seems to have been bumped up a bit from the beta. The guns feel much better than the beta and now have that "crunchy" feel.

This is going to be a ton of fun.

The music in Spark was absolutely gorgeous. Actually enjoyed the new adventures. I do like how some of them led to lost sectors to whet your appetite.

Also the public event to grab orbs from the spider tank to take out a shield barrier to get a blast cannon was so much more involved and fun

Had a lot of fun last night. Seems like a really improved game. Can't wait to get back on (which will be sometime after 12)

Made it to level 14 last night. Didn't sleep a wink. Work is rough this morning lol.

The game itself is beautiful though. Loving every minute so far.

So is there a consensus best character to use?

Made it right to power 150. I would have been further but I still haven't had my XP codes sent to me yet. One guy I was playing with had the XP boost going and he got to level 17 doing the same missions.

Depends on what your doing. Warlocks can tank almost anything in a healing rift, or buff damage with the other but the supers are not the best. Nova bomb is alright but dawnblade or whatever it's called is horrible. Does little damage and duration is very short. I switched to voidwalker as soon as I got the quest.

Titans are very good utility with the captain America shield or ward of dawn in the same super and the slam is strong. Plus they can throw up walls.

Hunters don't have much utility but the pole dancer super with the exotic that extends duration is nuts. Talking room clearing strong. It's basically arc blade plus fist of havoc in one super together. I have a feeling it will be nerfed since it lasts a very long time.

Do we know what power level is considered raid ready?

So, this is what I get for bragging, and wanting to be a good employee. I came into the office to have a quick meeting, planned on being out at 11 AM, and chief of staff basically guilted me into staying the rest of the day.

I'm lvl 8... but i've done several activities and public events and I'm obsessed with arc strider in pve.

Warlocks have an ability that when you kill an enemy, you regain health and each additional kill extends the health regen. I saw a video against taken and it was nasty

Oh man, loaded question. Depends: In no particular order with a pve focus:

Titan: From a pure utility perspective and team support (essential to endgame/raid content) the Defender titan (the one that can throw up a bubble...don't know if they call it defender anymore), Titans are hard to beat. When it comes to teaming up, these guys are often the most sought after.

Warlock: The rifts (healing and damage) with grenade eating is probably the biggest change from D1. Time will tell how these do play out and synergize with other teamates. Early reports have the new dawnblade thing being a bit weak, but who knows. Stomecaller (or whatever), is still the best for clearing out adds in heavy situations. The healing perks are also interesting...

Hunter: Nightstalker class in particular is very useful. The trap/tether is very useful for boss encounters as the enemies take more damage. Also, the invisible smoke bomb is excellent and can be used to make you and your teamates invisible. Very good at objectives and getting out of sticky situations. The rolls/skills aren't as useful as the Titan and Warlock skills, so thats kind of a bummer. Luke Smith (creative designer of Destiny 2) says gunslinger has the most DPS of any class if you can pull off golden gun crit shots. Jury is still out.

If you are new to Destiny, Id probably recommend a Titan first. They are tanky, they are useful in many situations. Warlocks, jury is still out on those riffs, Hunters, are situationally useful, but need a tad more focus to play to its full potential.

Or, simply go which one looks the best. Hunters are frajabulous.

Yep, it's called devour for the voidwalker. I haven't messed with it yet but it's basically a rework of energy drain from D1. Once I get it figured out it will be pretty beastly. As long as there are things to kill, you get health regen. If it's perks are in slova bomb upper tree though i wont be using it. I hated how slow that was in the beta.

Probably PAX-flu. I thought I was coming down with it, too but I think it was just the smoke and ash in the air yesterday messing with my sinuses.

Hit level 12 last night/early this morning. Gonna try and wrap up the campaign tonight.

Several of us who were lucky enough to make it to the lighthouse had at least one of either dwit or forrest on our memories.

Just bought a digital copy online and set the PS4 to start downloading it.

I have a fantasy football draft tonight, but hopefully I'll be able to get on after.

Made it to level 6 last night before quitting and I paid for it today. It was a long day!

But I'm home now ready to resume.

Also, Titan Master Race obviously.

I avoided the beta and I hadn't played D1 in awhile, so when I first got on and I titan skated it was such a good feeling. Love that they didn't **** with it.

Finally logging in... Hopefully this game is fuller than 1 was

Just started playing. The music during Exodus is beautiful. Hope the whole soundtrack is this good.

really impressed so far

Big fan of the new "flavors" of baddies. Fallen are creepy as heck, cabal look more crisp, and the hive have this sweet bone thing going on. Knights are pimped out with capes.

An actual story.. good musical score undersetting it. Easier to level up. Can't complain. I am almost nightfall ready (Zavala asked me).. so yeah..
