I agree that we should do what will allow us to have the most PS4 players in our clan and not have our clan split across multiple platforms.
Just saw on reddit someone thought it was 100 per console. Haven't seen any confirmation though.
So what's the difference between a group member and a clanmates?
In Destiny 1 not much you can be in multiple groups at once but only can join one of them as your clan.
In Destiny 2, they are being completely separated. Groups will just be a place for people to chat, I don't think there is a limit on number of members. Clans will have in-game rewards/clan leveling and will appear in your roster separately like they do now (max 100 people).

This seems like it solves our problems.
I'll do a bunch of posts and which ever gets the most stars is what we'll do.
Option A
Texas Aggies PSN

- Filters out XBox and PC users (most room for Playstation user growth)
- Easiest migration to D2 for everyone (no work for y'all and quick process for me)
- Able to start Day 1 building our Clan rank.

I am gonna let the voting go for a while I think. Have until late August to make up our mind.

Sorry, just trying to understand everything. If there are no bonuses for becoming a group, why not just keep our clan active and have someone else claim the Texas Aggies group name when it becomes available 2 weeks in after release? That gives the best of both worlds, correct? Kampfers is the one that's MIA, so if I log in and can claim ownership of the Texas Aggies group name, we're good, right? Clan stays Texas Aggies PSN and keeps the clan benefits and then anyone can join the group Texas Aggies regardless of what console they are on?
Point was to see if we could steal the Texas Aggies Clan name, the Texas Aggies Group isn't going anywhere.
August 23rd: The Texas Aggies Group & Clan both will become a group only since they currently have more than 100 members which exceeds the clan maximum but Kamphers will still hold the right to the Texas Aggies Clan name until Sept. 20th.
So ideally I'd vote to push Texas Aggies PSN through to D2 and then on Sept. 20th i'll try to just rename Texas Aggies PSN to Texas Aggies. That'll make me the founder and we can open it up to the other platforms.
The only thing I'm still confused on is if Texas Aggies won't actually be disbanded. It's technically a single group split into 2 clans. The group is over 100 but each clan is around 50. I'm starting to think that the Texas Aggies Clan (currently on xbox) as well as Texas Aggies67(PSN) will both be pushed forward but Kamphers will need to select new founders for each one. Since he is MIA, I have no idea how that'll work. Each clan would become separate clans and since the xbox has the Texas Aggies clan name I'm guessing they'll hold onto it.

I've sent a message to Kampfers on XB1 to let him know he needs to do some updating on it. Though I'm not entirely sure what he needs to do to make everyone happy.
Does he still get on? I know when I made the jump to creating this clan I wasn't able to have anyone get a hold of him.

I'm good with whatever the consensus is. I starred keeping the Texas Aggies PSN going that way at worst, we still keep that clan and the benefits of carrying it over from Destiny to D2.
Let this be the first alliance made with the Texas Aggies clan.

I think I read that alliances are being dropped "until a later date"
I would be hesitant allowing non playstation users in because as mentioned we have limited spots. We could change to Texas Aggies (or fighting Texas Aggies) but be very clear in the notes that it is a playstation clan
Considering the PS4 contingent for Destiny is stronger on TexAgs than Xbox, id consider just allowing the clan to be Psn as well.

No theater mode, no two person vehicles, mute protagonist
Theater mode I don't care about since ive seen the lag that introduces through the COD games that have it. Vehicles either since they aren't a big part of the game. Mute protagonist I understand but wish they were voiced. It doesn't even have to be anything major. Just a few lines here and there can go a long way.
