Dibs on casino city with tourism and crime.

If you play on a multiplayer map will people be done filling their space in like 2 days and then quit leaving you in a dead region?

This is hilarious.

After reading that article posted above, I am hesitant now. For the people who played the beta, did you run into the same issues? Did you run out of space and did your population really just stop growing? I'm not sure how much anyone played the beta but now I'm worried about this games limitations. What does everyone else think? Were those people just being too hard on the game?

Q: Can your cities impact the rest of the community or region while you’re not playing?
A: We get this question a lot. To be clear, this is an asynchronous multiplayer game. Your cities do not simulate while you are not playing them, they will not rise and they will not fall. With that said, we have built in systems where certain aspects of your city will still function within the region. For example, if your city is receiving workers from your friend’s city and they go offline, you will continue to receive those workers as long as you’re playing your city. We take a snap shot of the city for the region and continue to simulate the shared aspects of that city. This is very important when players are playing multiple cities by themselves or for when friends are offline. We don’t want the fun to end just because one person had to unplug for some much needed sleep.
