No, if you look at this board, there are some threads about movies and games that ADVERTISE SPOILER ALERT.

A thread about a game made THE DAY IT COMES OUT is not meant to have spoilers in it. If you do decide to spill the beans on something, it doesn't hurt you to be considerate of others and add the simple phrase **SPOILER ALERT**.

Coming on day 3 and 4 of the game being out, it would be understandable to assume those who care will already be passed certain parts...but not the day of release or the next.

It's just inconsiderate. Not like my life will never be the same because someone spoiled something. Part of enjoying games and movies is enjoying those little surprises.

I just think its funny. If it means that much to you, dont open the thread maybe? If I cared that much about not knowing something in the game, I probably wouldnt read threads on texags about the game until I got to a point that I was comfortable knowing what happens ahead of there.

Then again, thats just thinking with reason instead of expecting everyone else to follow my rules.

By the way, I finally got in to the servers and was able to play last night. Made it about 45 minutes in before the servers kicked me, then got back for another half hour, or so, after trying to log in (and getting 37s) for about an hour.

Love the game so far! I would agree with the earlier assesments of it being easy to begin with. But, Diablo II was like this too. I like starting off slow like this to familiarize myself with the interface, heads-up display, and keyboard layout. When I face bosses, and tougher levels later on, I don't want to be thinking "Now, which key is it to make that attack???", and I can basically practice through the opening areas of the game.

I have my Barbarian up to level 5 and am looking for Leonid's crown now. I think the graphics are great, the sound is awesome, and have not experienced any lag so far with the graphics details all set to the highest levels. (my current rig is a Intel i5-2500k, 16GB DDR3 RAM, ZOTAC GeForce GTX 550 Ti Graphics Card, 128GB Kingston V-200 SSD HD - for comparison)

As to older computers running it, I have a pretty crappy laptop (purchased expecting it to be destroyed), and it runs the game pretty darn well at full res with all settings but shadows on high. Check the min requirements, and if you meet them, it's a fairly safe bet that it'll at least be playable.

As you open up the later skills, you can actually reconfigure your buttons/skills to better suit your preferences.

Seeing as most people on this forum do what I recommended, I would say "reason" would dictate that the average person types "spoiler alert".

This has not been a thread talking about all the quests and what happens...it is one just talking about people's first impression of the game. It is generally understood by most to avoid spoilers unless the thread itself mentions spoilers will be discussed. Plain and simple...just don't be an ass hole. I don't know why you feel the need to argue with this, you just seem to have to argue with reasonable people for some reason.

I'm loving my Demon Hunter so far. Level 27ish, faster than a daddy, and TONS of attacks/moves. I've found elective mode really useful, as it lets you assign 2 primary attacks to your mouse, or reassign the # keys as you please. For example, I've got "Evasive Fire," which is a #4 key assignment by default, assigned to my right-click. I use it all the time now, and it works great as a primary attack, but if I was forced to leave it on the 4 key, it would be much more difficult to use it in the same fashion.

Diablo also returns as a boss.

My monk is up to level 18 and decked out in yellows from tards on the AH underselling.

Once you get exploding palm at level 13, you start wrecking shop.

As for deaths...I don't know about ranged, but as melee, I came really close towards the end of act 1 when I aggroed two champion packs at once. I can't stress enough to not forget about stacking some vitality on your gear.

Transcendance passive ability is hax. Nothing like free heals everytime you use your spirit. I Once I get my mantras, he is going to be very hard to kill.

That's not much of a spoiler compared to the MAJOR revalation after the part where the beta ends...and the nastiness that happens about 3/4 of the way through act 1.

jlb isn't being touchy, he's being reasonable. Rule 32 is being a little bit of a jerk. jlb made it very clear that it isn't the end of the world if you spoiled it, but I think every person who's played Diablo 1 would admit that it would have been a nice little surprise, including me. Why is this being argued? You're right, it isn't a big deal, but just be courteous.

The guest pass should also be available for anyone to grab about 30 days after the game was released.

Also [SPOILER ALERT], there is a major RETCON at the end of Act 3.

The difficulty definitely picks up in Act III. I got there too early (level 21) because I got carried through the end of act II and found myself going back to act II just to level up.
