Booger did great, for all the crap he rightfully gets at game calling. He, unlike those other 2, was a player and I think it really showed in his response.

The stadium is <10 minutes from UoC Hospital. No way they're waiting. I'm hoping it means he's doing better and they can wait. Otherwise, get his ass there and the Bengals have a car for her with police escort.

I don't have a problem with any of them. They have no clue how to handle this.
Obviously the game is secondary to everything, but I don't see any good options for the outcome of the game. You can't play the game. You can't reschedule it. You can't call it a tie. You can't just award the Bengals the win. Cancel it and just not have it count? What are you supposed to do?

As others have mentioned, other sports have played through these kinds of things before. If the bills don't want to play, they should be allowed to forfeit.

IF he is ok. Play tomorrow.
If not then the Bills are off until the playoffs and just seed everyone the best you can.

I'm the late 90's I was an OC for a 5A HS. Our QB took a bad hit and ended up with a compound fracture of his femur. the sights and sounds of that was bad enough- but his dad was also a coach and my best friend. I had watched that kid grow up and it was like I was watching my own son lay there and scream. I cannot imagine anything like what happened on tv tonight. That was terrible. 
Man I couldn't imagine watching my teammate receive cpr for that long on the middle of the field
Feels like I'm in the ER waiting room waiting for an update from the doctor.
Working in medicine has numbed it to situations like this. My wife is tearing up, but brain is just running algorithms trying to decide exactly what happened

Praying for a different outcome but this reminds me of Dale Earnhardt's wreck when he died. The wreck looked so innocuous considering the outcome.

Had the same thoughts. Iirc they waited for Dale Jr to jump in the ambulance before heading to the hospital.
