I highly doubt 55k Bills fans can travel to a neutral site on a weeks notice
Ain't that many Bills fans outside of Buffalo

If the game is somewhere, like Pittsburgh, or Cleveland, why not? its not a very long drive at all. could go back and forth same day

This isn't my experience. They were 60% or more of NRG stadium when they played the Texans in the playoffs a few years ago. I know its the Texans but it was still crazy to see that many opponents fans at a playoff game.

They seem to travel as well as Steeler and Chief fans who have a reputation for traveling well.

I don't believe this for a second. You're trying to tell me the Texans made the playoffs?

Guess you didn't see the Bills/Browns game, the game was relocated to Detroit 3 days before the game, and Bills Mafia overtook that stadium.

Fans will start buying airfare or making plans as soon as the neutral location is announced. Buy the tickets non refundable, it isn't that hard to imagine.

Bills fans are THIRSTY, and they along with the team have had a hell of a year.

-Topps Supermarket Shooting, ENTIRE 90 man roster shows up to support, serve food, etc.
-The co-owner of the team has had ongoing health issues for months
-Dawson Knox had his brother unexpectedly pass away at the beginning of the season
- Key injuries on defense and they still maintained a top 5 defense
- 7' snowstorm caused a relocation of a home game to Detroit, that players had to dig out of their homes to get to
- Another blizzard that kept them in Chicago and from getting home as planned on Christmas
- And now watching one of their teammates get chest compression in the middle of the field.

Detorit Cleveland Buffalo Pitts
Are not neutral sites or fields for Buff vs KC

The game will be in a dome on either Atlanta or Indy and most likely Indy bc it is 7 hours away from each

I would venture ATL or HOU as both easier to travel to in general.

Also you have to factor in KC fans who are just as big of fans as the bills mafia and have season ticket holders that have rights to AFC championship game tickets that should be at KC

No way should the game rightfully be in KC.

Bills & Bengals both beat the Chiefs, along with both having a higher strength of schedule.

And the chiefs have the #1 seed which is who hosts the championship game if they make it of course

Actually, the bye should just be eliminated and 16 teams make the playoffs. Works for other sports.

They might find the top seed loses because of the layoff and dump it anyway.
I agree with you. I think we should eliminate the bye week. Last year was the first 17-game season, and both No. 1 seeds went one and out. The No. 4 Cincinnati Bengals upset the No. 1 Tennessee Titans 19-16, and the No. 6. San Francisco 49ers upset the No. 1 Green Bay Packers 13-10.

Of course that would mean 8 playoff games the first weekend instead of 6 and 4 before the expanded playoffs. So, maybe have 3 playoff games on Saturday, 3 on Sunday, and 2 on Monday.

That the Chiefs should be the 1 seed?

Yes Cincy and Buffalo refused to play so why should they be rewarded
amercer
How long do you want to ignore this user?

Well they both already beat the chiefs, so the bills and Cincy should probably just have a coin flip for the 1 seed.

Indianapolis has told the NFL that they will not be able to host a game.

This has been a rough thread for you

So the NFL asked the team I thought it would be most appropriate
Not sure how that is a rough thread

is he still in critical condition because his heartbeat is erratic? because they don't know what caused the problem? is there something else?

Has to be more going on. There has still been nothing released on the cause of the cardiac issue. Was it commotio cordis or an underlying issue that no one found prior to this. My guess is that there is an underlying electrical issue that made him more susceptible to commotio cordis and that is what they are continuing to treat him for and is keeping him at that level of care.

so the Chiefs took advantage of the cancellation by blowing out the Raiders.

got the #1 seed and the bye

the NFL needs the Chargers and/or Jaguars to get on a roll in the playoffs.

otherwise prepare the asterisk if KC makes the Super Bowl

Why would there be an asterisk? The bills and Bengals chose not to olay

Calm your jets, the number 1 seed is not THAT big of a help. Plenty of bye week teams lose in the divisional round.

Until a couple years ago the winning percentage in divisional round for home team was near 75%.
