Hurts apparently makes a huge difference for the Eagles. If he doesn't play next week, the East is going to Dallas.
The NFL is weird and anything can happen in a single game, but I don't love the Giants with nothing to play for versus Philadelphia next week. The difference between having a bye week versus having to go on the road for 3 rounds starting with Tom Brady is just massive.
Saints did us a solid today.
I feel like it comes down to Hurts or no Hurts. If he doesn't play, it's likely going to be Dallas for the East. The Giants are playing pretty well and can take out Philly (unless they rest a bunch of starters).
The worry, to me, is how Minshew had little trouble with the Dallas D, but could do little to nothing against the Saints D. Need to get the D fixed and fast.

Agreed. It's hard to win in the NFL and Jax was the game we needed and we blew it.
1 game will be the difference between Dallas as a Wild Card instead of the #1 seed.
The real question is what is the schedule going to look like next week.
If the eagles Giants game is on Saturday or early Sunday and cowboys get flexed to a later game the cowboys could know if they need to play for the division or not before they play.

The NFL will schedule the two games at the same time. I'm guessing noon Sunday.

I don't buy this one bit, the Giants hate the Eagles too and Dabol will have them playing to win.
I doubt they play the starters all game long if there is nothing to gain from it. Just would be very stupid to risk any major injuries in that way, in my opinion.
What's funny is that winning the East and not getting the bye could give us a tougher opponent than simply getting the WC and playing in Tampa.
Let's get back to the brillilant analysis like 'the Eagles are worse without their starting QB"

I wouldn't want to play the Lions right now. Would prefer the bye obviously but if not give me the Giants or Bucs.
Detroit and Dan Campbell are physical as hell; I would not want to face them right now. They are a lot better than when Dallas played them earlier this season. But, also think it's nuts to want to face the GOAT and Mike Evans (they were unstoppable today) over some of them other not so good NFC squads. Heck, Dallas hasn't beaten them in the last two seasons.
I want no part of Aaron Rogers in the playoffs. I'll take my chances against old man Brady.
I also don't want an opening game against Detroit. Dallas would play that game straight up, but Campbell would play it like a man with nothing to lose.

I just have no confidence in the cowboys right now. I guess they are going to end up playing a hot team or Brady in the first round. When does the nfl release the game times for next week?

Correct... So even if we win the division we're still likely looking at #2 seed unless things go our way in all 3 games today.
