Awful loss. Not running clock after that fumble recovery is completely inexplicable, especially considering how run reliant we had been on drives before that.
As ChemAg said above, this team is not it. McCarthy's brand of Cowboys football is just about the same as Garrett's. We're looking at best at a one and done playoff exit and then a first round pick that doesn't let us get the highest possible end help at the positions we need

I still done get how the out of bounds play that saved the Jax timeout was overturned. Guy was running perpendicular to the sideline to get out, no forward progress. Clock is supposed to keep running even if he makes it out before going down.

The ref expert on the call said that you apparently can't review that aspect of it, so the ref on the field just said he was down in bounds
Basically we have an extremely flawed replay system
I really thought the Bears were going to upset the Eagles and Dallas would win, setting up a huge game next week. Now 13-1 vs 10-4 instead of 12-2 vs 11-3.

Just watched the bucs get beat down in the 2nd half by Cincinnati. They look like a bad football team at times. With their bad o-line it seems like Dallas would match up very well against them. Facing Tom Brady in the playoffs would still probably be nerve wracking though. I really hope the bucs or panthers can win that division because it would suck if the Cowboys had to go play a playoff game in the Superdome. The Saints aren't good, but that rowdy crowd would make a tough atmosphere. New Orleans always seems to give Dallas a hard game.
Cowboys had 2nd half leads of 14 & 17 in two of their four losses this season.

I dont think you can definitely conclude anything about this team yet. They are very strong in some key areas. A legit contender with a very high ceiling.. They have a formula to win they just get away from it at times and it's very frustrating.
They are much better than last year. The defense is really banged up now though and it showed today. No Hankins and no LVE. 4th and 5th string corners out there getting roasted. With the 5th seed close to locked up they should consider sitting guys who have minor injuries. This team had the talent to win at Tampa and then give the Eagles a good game.

Yes I know it's sad . The reality is it's not been historically easy to even make the playoffs. The monkey is squarely pirched on Dak and Mccarthys back and it's only getting bigger. Luckily for them, they will get a chance to prove everyone wrong. I

That and the last defensive series before time expired. The defense was a wet paper towel that made Sunshine look like Tom Brady or Aaron Rogers.
