This team still has a ways to go on offense, but you can't discredit our 5 wins. Some of those teams we beat have looked pretty good against other teams.
24-6 is a dominant, good win in the nfl. No touchdowns allowed. Idc if it's Detroit, good work by the staff and players today.

If Dallas is to make a trade, who does everyone want the most? I think this team needs another weapon on the outside. Need more explosive plays. Give me DJ Moore or Jerry Jeudy.
I'd like them to go out and get a truly elite run stopping DT. We're pretty average against the run.
We 100% need another offensive weapon.
CD is the only pass catcher other teams respect. Gallup just isn't getting open consistently and Noah Brown is as good as he's ever gonna be.
I'll be very disappointed if we just sit still and do nothing when we have a defense that can take us far, possibly all the way, if we can just move the ball and score points.

Not aware of any DTs like that available other than Payne possibly. Being inner division the Skins would likely not make that trade. Would love to have Brown from the Panthers but they've said he's not available.

Agree. Good news is it seems to be a buyers market at WR with several good ones being shopped.
The only reason I don't want to trade for a WR is because I don't think we're going to pass the ball enough for that person to make a difference.

We threw the ball 25 times today, and moving forward I assume we'll probably try to do the same thing. Run the ball and keep Dak from throwing it 30+ times a game. That's our formula for winning, so why expend high draft capital on a receiver when you already have two good ones, a solid third, a guy coming back from injury and three good tight ends? I just don't think it makes sense when our formula for winning games is predicated on throwing less and running more.
Wouldn't be opposed to adding an offensive lineman.

My thoughts exactly. The San Fran MO has been they can find RBs off the street. They've had a bunch of injuries so their solution is to give up a bunch of picks for an injury prone RB? It makes no sense.
Can I get everyone's honest opinion on how this season will turn out? Just genuinely curious.

when you can play defense like they do, you'll be in every game. Already beat the Giants in NY and really not scared of Philly but they have an insanely easy schedule. Hurts will come back down to earth or get hurt with all the running he does. Still very much in it for the division and no reason to think they can't make some noise in the playoffs.
Steelers next week might be a good test for Philly's RPO. They just held the dolphins to 16 points. That was with Pittsburgh missing 4 real interception chances. I do think Hurts is better than Tua but Hill/Waddle >> Brown/Smith.

They need CB help with the injury to Lewis, for depth if nothing else. That's a pretty big loss. Heck, an upgrade to Anthony Brown was arguably a need already since he's wearing a bullseye out there.
The young guys are going to need to step up. But even if they do, I think you need to bring in someone for depth at CB or NB.
They could definitely use another playmaker at WR unless Gallup gets his juice back, but CB is more of an actual need.
Hurts has improved a lot and the overall Philly team has as well. They aren't better than Dallas overall, though. Philly probably has the better offense and Dallas has the better defense. NY seems to be on a luck-streak; they are not as good as their record. Even Washington is better this year. NFC East went from horrid to very good.
I'm happy putting Bland out there for Lewis. Completely agree on Brown though. He's just playing soft this year. Would like to see Joseph get a shot sooner or later.

The Lion's passing game had its most successful stretch when they kept calling the "throw it to whoever Brown is covering" play.

I read there are those that thought Bland was about to overtake Lewis anyway.
The Cowboys have been really good at drafting so I don't want this to come across as complaining too much, but it sure does hurt that Kelvin Joseph hasn't panned out.

Yea, though he may not be playing on D yet. Joseph has been awesome on special teams. Hopefully, he gets a shot as a CB if Brown continues to struggle.
