I was thinking about joining Rastafarianism but some of their shizzle is a bit too woke for me. I will have to be a Potted Trumphead shaman u til something better comes along.

But seriously, a mega church Unitarian pastor pretending to love Jesus whilst worshipping Satan is about par for the course for the Hate Americans.

Exactly, the recent "I'm ready for the Trump era to be over (sic)" thread the insane replies say a lot about how out of touch some folks are.

I know a TON of hardline conservatives and they all hate Trump. He's just such a jackass and it's gotten worse. The fact that the GOP is a threat to lose in KS is very telling. And his policies, diesel prices (people don't care whose fault it may be, the guy in charge gets blamed), and now a foreign war which he said he would not do is just pissing people off. Lots of older GOP voters absolutely hate Trump.

People are just not going to vote in a lot of borderline RED States or vote independent and it's 100% Trumps fault.
a bunch of out of touch geriatrics is not the core of today's R / "conservatives". If you are an R and hate Trump, life has passed you by. hTH.

And yet they are the strongest voting demographic.

Not really a bad thing, agreed.

Good to see. I had been a bit concerned about KS.

Understanding now that they ran another "pastor" in KS like they did in Texas, then the phrase needs to be to "Pray the Dems Away".

Time for the Good Lord himself to cast out these false prophets.

It's almost shocking how confident you seem to be about the Kansas Senate race despite knowing very little about the race, state, or candidates.

Adam Hamilton is absolutely a Pastor. Full stop. End of sentence. To imply otherwise is ludicrous.

He has a degree from Oral Roberts, is Senior Pastor at Church of the Resurrection (which he founded in 1990), and has written numerous books on Faith/Ministry. His church also happens to be the largest United Methodist Church in the country.

Politics wise he is as close to a true centrist as you can get which is why this is even a competitive race. He's pretty milquetoast, highly respected, and someone with an almost unimpeachable character. He is based in Leawood which is in Johnson County. Johnson County alone makes up almost a quarter of the entire state population.

As a liberal, there are plenty of issues I disagree with him on. I still think he is a much better option than Roger Marshall which is why I voted for him yesterday.

A man who puts Green New Deal rhetoric into a call for repentance is no moderate and places Democrat Party social constructs over the Gospel. He is as left as AOC on this topic.

And why is it no one is talking about that in KS? I live in Johnson County so maybe those adds aren't targeting the unfortunate overwhelming numbers of rich white woman in JOCO but I would think in would have heard about that at some point?

This is getting ridiculous.

2 blue states that in no way have a way of checking if someone voting is a US citizen beside attestation. CA admitted to it, now WA.

How many are there going to be?

The same reason 81,000,000, give or take 10-15 million or so dead/created voters, ignored Ashley Biden's diary and put a pedo in the White House.

A media complicit in running cover for Democrats and rarely capable of reporting anything related to Christianity with any level of knowledge will never call one of their own out when it is clear he inserted quack Democrat Party mythology into Christ's message to advance a political goal.

In that case, it is up Marshall and GOP allies to hammer that message home in ads throughout Kansas and on social media. The Democrats cannot censor the story as they did with all things Biden in 2020. If Marshall isn't getting that deal done, then ultimately it is on him for failing to call this leftist out.

Trump canceling rallies for the weekend. Probably helps the candidates and lets him play golf, so win win

An interesting political move is making its way around conservative circles.

When elected officials take their oath of office, they swear allegiance to uphold and defend the Constitution. So how can candidates who are members of the DSA make that oath truthfully when their own platform says the following:

"We need a new Constitution"

It's an interesting move with competing explanations; (a) can reach more via tele rallies (but why change to that now), (b) security risks heightened (threats toward him), (c) IA and KS are safely in the bag anyway now (plausible), or (d) the CNN-Anderson Cooper fake news explanation that he doesn't want to be out any longer to take the blame for the outcomes (laughable).

The fatty al-Reuters 'reporter' he trashed yesterday seemed to also imply a health issue, which I think is only worth mockery as a note.

I lean toward (b) personally. (They also added some anti-aircraft systems to MaL in the past week per below). It seems most likely to be an Iranian or TDS-Democrat threat they don't want to publicize (or put crowds in danger). Changing travel plans at the last second is disruptive to any terroristic planner(s).

It may have to do with a little of B and C. Also, Iran might be popping off soon too. KS and IA are most likely going to be won by R's for the Senate. But R's still have to vote to make it happen.

Vance also cancelled rallies this weekend.

I don't disagree with you really. I also think it weighs on Trump as to the fatality/injuries at Butler. Both cancelling at the last second (and Trump functionally sitting in a bunker at MaL all weekend) lends credence again to the threat issue.

Not getting my hopes up at all in NY this cycle but it's interesting how their electorate has trended significantly to the right of late.

ETA, this is exactly my map too, though I think MN is actually a perfect coin flip, somewhat depending how today/the weekend goes with fraud news up there.

RDS is trying to stoke red voters of course, which is great, but it's a +13 county by RV with some EV changes as well that probably are an unfair comparison to 2024 presidential turnout, really.

The devil is always in the details. (Kamala/peepaw also really ticked off Cuban Americans in 2024, so Dems pretty much gave up on FL well before they anointed her as the nominee).

Also in the 15th and 18th, Franklin and Lee (GOP both) are heavy favorites/not really contested this year.

re: trump cancelling rallies

He was getting a raspy voice and may simply be fatigued. Hell, the rigors of multiple flights on a plane, no matter the comfort, will take his toll plus speaking rally style multiple times per day.

Could be security, could be fatigue. It most certainly is not conceding.

And he is back . . .

Quote:

  • President Trump reversed course Friday and will now hold rallies in Kansas and Iowa over the weekend that were previously canceled, according to a source familiar with the plans. He is set to fly to Florida for a rally in Daytona Beach on Friday evening, continuing a weekslong blitz to urge his base to turn out.

He did have a reporter ask him about his health on the tarmac yesterday and he snapped at them and told the reporter they looked like hell and should take care of themselves better.

The list of GOPers impressed by Trump's angry, childish outbursts is getting smaller by the day. It's not going to take too many GOP Senators to reach 67. It's going to be in the teens.

67 for what? Removal?

Also, if the Dems have the same numbers they have now it's already in the "teens" per math and such.

But if you believe Trump fading away, I encourage your delusion. It's helpful in battling the crazy libs who Hate America.

I'm just saying Trump needs to be careful here. He doesn't have nearly the same political clout he once had.

And no, I don't think he is "fading away". Trump is the same imbecile he's always been, the difference now is the list of people who champion him or put up with his antics is getting smaller. People are now casting him aside because association with him is now more toxic to them than it is beneficial.

Nah, it is a boring, objective fact. Only an imbecile would lash out angrily at a reporter asking him why he canceled an upcoming event.

The part which was more profound was discussing whether or not Trump has the same political clout he once had and what the ramifications are going forward, after the midterms. But I think that point was wasted on you, unfortunately.

Let me repeat. Nothing you wrote is true. His influence is growing, not fading. With the Senate the next two years he continues much of his agenda. If the Dems get the house, investigations and impeachments will be ignored.

The media is not going to quit covering him as Hitler which will continue to motivate over half the Country to vote againsts the degenerate Hate Americans who want open borders, public health systems and to transition children under the guise the most American of ideas... socialism.
